Never used movers before but these guys came recommended to me. After calling them up and squaring the details, I was put at ease with fair pricing and attention to detail. Upon arrival, they packed all our stuff into a truck, drove it to our new home, unpacked and moved everything inside exactly where we wanted it. This included a couch, a treadmill and exercise bike down a flight of stairs. After they finished, they asked me to do a walk through to make sure everything was in its right place. This attention to detail was impressive!
I was also impressed with their teamwork, communication, professionalism and speed. Pierce, Andrew, Josh and Seth were the crew that helped us, and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for help moving something.

UPDATE

I am lowering my original review due to damage to my items I found after opening the trailer at the destination. Several boxes were totally crushed due to being stacked and secured improperly and contents were loose including fragile vinyl records. A lot of my furniture is very dirty as well even though I provided moving blankets to help prevent this. I was told helpful movers had a experience packing UPack trailers correctly so I'm pretty disappointed.

Pierce and his crew were great. I had them load a UPack trailer at my town home and they were punctual, professional, and super quick. They actually used less space on the trailer than I reserved! Highly recommend them for moving in Cache Valley!

On first contact , Helpful Movers seemed like a great company. Andrew’s quote seemed reasonably priced for moving my safe. BUT, Andrew’s attitude on seeing the project was very poor and watching 2 guys stand around , had me change my mind on where I had them place it. I really didn’t feel comfortable about them not damaging my property.
I could have done it myself and saved paying 4 guys for nothing. Only one of the movers impressed me, but one man can’t do my project alone.
What I got was basically you picking my safe up from the store and dropping it off in my garage. Like I said , I could have done that myself. If I don’t get a discount , it is a very expensive price for what service I received.

Please look for another company. My original bid of around $800 jumped to over $1300 with all the extra added stuff. We did a move a 660 square foot apartment where I had already done most of the boxing they did do some. Then a 50 mile travel to destination. Where they had to do 3 levels of stairs which I already planned on compensating them in tips. But with all the extra added stuff amounting to over $500 from the original bid. Not so much 👎. So yes look for another company. I'm a retired truck driver I know how things are suppose to work they stepped away from those ethics. Honesty is the best policy. Other companies would not have charged for the use of the truck nor would they have charged a $1 per mile and the gasoline cost. Nor would they charged a $100 an hour for their drivers drive time. Your driver showed up late and there was dead time in other words your drivers were not as efficient as they could have been. Other company gave me a quote of $1062 for 4 workers and that they would have taken care of everything. Being handicap plus a senior citizen your workers expected me to handle most of the boxing. That's ok you didn't earn your $1300 honestly but you still got paid. With a $100 tip to your workers. That's my review.

Update: I have hired Helpful Movers on two occasions since my original review and would absolutely recommend them for any job, big or small!

Hire Helpful Movers! The crew of three were some of the hardest working guys I've ever seen. They worked non-stop doing back breaking labor for 5 hours straight. They were courteous, respectful, and took great care to pack and transport furniture & belongings safely and cleanly. They charge by the hour, but they worked fast and things got done much quicker than I anticipated.

When we got to the new location, they made sure all of the boxes and furniture were taken to the correct rooms and even reassembled the beds.

I wasn't even the one moving--it was a friend who hired them--but I was so impressed with their work that I wanted to leave a review and sing their praises. Well done, thank you for making this the easiest move I've ever been a part of! I'll definitely call Helpful Movers the next time I have to relocate.

We were completely satisfied with our movers. We had Pierce, Nick and Andrew. All 3 were so careful with our belongings. They were very pleasant and made sure to include us with all decisions. They went the extra mile with all our requests and stayed till the job was done without complaint. I would definitely use Helpful Movers again and especially with employees like these 3 young men!

BEST MONEY I HAVE EVER SPENT. I honestly can’t find words to describe how great our experience was with Helpful Movers. Taron and Harvey worked at lighting speed. They didn’t even take a break! They protected our furniture perfectly and didn’t ding a SINGLE WALL in our brand new home. They were extremely thorough and clean throughout the entire process. I’m so glad I hired them! Our moving process was actually enjoyable! If you’re in need of great movers, call these guys.. you WILL NOT regret your decision!

Where do I start? Not Helpful Movers… THE Movers! Pierce and his team were AMAZING! They located a 26ft truck for our long distance move (Over 1600 miles!) when no one else could and he found a way to fit EVERYTHING from our home into that truck. They saved us thousands of dollars and did an amazing job. Their quotes are legit. No hidden fees, lies or excuses. Integrity! Let’s also talk about work ethic. Pierce and his team were on time and they did not stop until the job was finished all while maintaining and extreme professionalism throughout the process. Pierce personally drove 1600+ miles across the country with our possessions and NOTHING was broken. We are extremely impressed and appreciate their hard work as well as their rapid load/unloading process. Don’t hesitate to book your next move with these guys, you won’t be disappointed!!!
