My experience with HeavyLiftingCO was extremely disappointing and unprofessional from start to finish.

Two weeks before my move, I reached out to them and provided an estimate of how many items I needed help with. They confirmed availability and quoted me $99+ per hour with a $50 one-time fee, which seemed reasonable and exactly what I was looking for. I followed up a week later to confirm we were still set for my move on April 7th, and they assured me everything was good to go.

The first red flag I missed was their method of communication—everything was handled through iMessage, which felt informal and unprofessional for a moving company. They told me they would arrive between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. on the day of the move. I waited, but no one showed up.

When I called, I was asked if I had paid a $100 security deposit—something that had never been mentioned in our prior conversations. When I asked why I wasn’t informed, the person on the phone said they didn’t know and that they'd try to find movers to help me later that day. I waited 30–40 minutes for a call back that never came. I called again—no answer. I called two more times—still no response.

At that point, I was left scrambling to find another moving company last minute. Thankfully, I did—and they were incredibly professional and efficient.

To make matters worse, HeavyLiftingCO finally called me late that night asking if I still needed help. I told them no, and that I was extremely disappointed in how things were handled.

I don’t usually write bad reviews, but people should be aware of what they’re getting into. This was not just a miscommunication—it was a complete lack of professionalism and accountability.

The entire process from start to finish was amazing. Everything was booked via text message which was very convenient. The movers showed up exactly when they said they would. They completed the move in the exact time they said they would. There were no extra charges. This was one of the best moving experiences I’ve ever had. I can’t say thank you enough.

I had a great experience with Heavy Lift Moving Co. The communication with Stefan was awesome. The communication with the moving crew was great. They followed my instructions on some special pieces of furniture. They were available and on time when they said they were going to be. Moving is so stressful but these guys made it better for me and my family.
