Easily the best sushi in the area. I've never had such fresh inari pockets before. I grew up in this town, live in Oregon now. But will definitely be a place I visit every time I come to visit family!!!

Its a kitchen only down an odd little street, but so worth it. I will be picking up some food to bring back up to Oregon tonight.

Very tasty and authentic Japanese food! Order with their QR code and pickup your food to go. They are a kitchen only, no dine in. We ordered 3 onigiri and the chicken bento. The bento was enough of food for the two of us, plenty big! Lots of pickles and side dishes in the box as well. The onigiri are also large, VERY delicious! The rice is the best!!

BEST food in Mendocino county, so fresh and tasty. The people making this food LOVE cooking and you can tell from the food itself, amazing experience each time. My friend and I stopped in town from San Jose after a day trip for a bite to eat and when I was googling places, Hatake Farm Kitchens popped up. The place was kinda hard to find (it's behind the Pub) but I was very happy I found it. A chef came out when she saw us and was super sweet - she gave us recommendations both from herself and the owner. We ended up getting several rolls and a few Smoked Salmon onigiri and I will say everything was absolutely delicious, especially the rice and pickled side dishes. You can tell the chefs care and put a lot of effort into making sure the food is amazing and the prices are very reasonable and affordable for the amount you get! We will absolutely be back, thanks so much for the positive experience and delicious food 10000000/10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A little hard to find. If you walk down van lane and turn right you’ll see a dark blue door and a large window. That’s the place. I got the half serving of the Mendocino popper and oh my good gods is it delicious. It reminds me of the fair- slightly spicy, bit of a bbq tang and warm from being lightly fried. Price was very well worth it! I WILL be visiting again soon!

Phenomenal Japanese food in Willits, CA. Easily the best food in town and the best Japanese food in the area. Excellent sushi, delicious bento boxes (with big servings), wonderful ramen and almost everything is made with at least some fresh local ingredients. And the chef is the nicest guy in the world. Can’t say enough good things about Hatake Farm Kitchen.

On 11/15/24, I ordered salmon/avocado roll, salad, & vegetable pickles. As I anticipated, they were all delicious: salmons were so good, it almost melts in your mouth, and vegetable pickles, with combinations of onions, red cabbage, broccoli , kimuchi, & daikons were excellent.
