I have been a happy Gerson's customer since 2006 when I found an all copper sink that fit my little guest shack perfectly. On my recent Sept.2024 visit it was 105F, yet once again my patient search and the front desk man's guidance helped me find exactly what I needed: a 3'x3' double glass side-opening window, perfect and ready to paint and install. I also found a 3'x'2' piece of corrugated metal that was twice as thick as the typical sheet metal used in roofing tin. It will serve nicely as a cover to a small septic tank on my farmstead in Folsom, NM.

It was a lucky stop the day before I left for New Mexico. Now my projects will get completed. If you are looking for used building supplies, paint, woodstoves, and lawn furniture, this is an absolute must first stop. Gerson's is the most complete and organized used building materials source in Tucson and maybe even Phoenix. The folks who own and run this business are friendly, knowledgeable, and really care that you find what you need.

This is a little late but I wanted to mention this place, at the last minute "Alex" came through for me! I needed help finding 2 doors to replace my old ones for my home.! He waited for me to come back with the correct measurements and recommended a handy man that by far knew exactly what to do and got it done in an hour.
Since it was almost closing Alex made sure I had the right size doors and didn't rush me, considering I had to.have my old doors replaced by morning and was pressed for time.
Alex you really came through for me and was patient and understanding. Your customer service was compassionate and outstanding. I will be a permanent customer from now on and recommended my family friends and colleagues. You are an asset for Gersons.!!

Sam needs to work on his customer service. I called before I went over there just to make sure they had the size I needed for my window and he said I needed to come look. I live an hour and a half from the store so I'm not going to just drive there to come look if they're not going to have the window he could have just went and looked for me. So I think I'm going to go to Home Depot instead they have better customer service there.

Great variety, buys and sells new and used hardware at discount prices. I usually come here for metal fencing and scrap metal for projects. Great for replacement parts that might be hard to find elsewhere, toilet tank lids, ceramic roofing tiles... fills a key niche in the community! And don't forget paint, if you just need to weatherize and the color doesn't matter much, this is the best deal anywhere!

attendant basically pointed out where things were, but didn't show any interest in making a sale. I asked about fence wire, T posts and clips. After finding the wire ,I found a roll I believe would work, However I was unable to find posts,or Rebar, which would be my preferred substitute if necessary. As for clips those would probably be better new but I intend to return in near future for the wire and possibly posts if I can locate them at that time.

Had fun looking at all the building supplies. Needed special pot to make a fountain and found it?They were helpful and even offered a discount in another pot when at first couldn't find the right pot, but then we found the perfect one.
