Working in the area and stopped at Gebby’s for breakfast. Outstanding service. AMAZING food. I highly suggest stopping in for breakfast. Plenty of parking in the rear of building

It was OK my table coffee pot needed to be wiped down, or cleaned from other coffee spots. Not a pleasant look.

Not recommended. Sat down and was immediately covered in syrup from previous guests. All over my coat, pants and hands. It was all over the side of the table and seat. Waitress was nice enough to nothing over the top or even personable. Food came timely and was cold. The homemade fries tasted like stale grease. Our drinks were never refilled and we never saw anyone stop back at our table. Finally after watching employees standing around and on phones we walked up to register to pay where an employee graciously liked up our order and rang us out. We will not be returning. Sad because this place has been around for years.

Gabby’ is known for its all day breakfast and they did not disappoint. I had the cheese and mushroom omelette which was bursting with mushrooms and stuffed with melted cheddar cheese. I opted for the grits with brown sugar, and the grits were creamy with a firm texture. My mother had the senior burger, which she declared the perfect size and my brother had the gargantuan pork tenderloin, which was crispy on the outside yet tender and juicy on the inside. Wonderful service, friendly staff, and lots of convenient parking. The price was very reasonable as for 4 people total, it was slightly less than $40.

Great service, food was great. Grits was little dry but thankful they carry grits at all. Eggs were very good. Not sure what they grease pan with but both fried and scrambled eggs were outstanding. Toast was crunchy. Bacon was very good, hash browns made perfectly 👌. Pricing is not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

My husband and I come here frequently for breakfast. The food is great, and I love that they have home style options to offer.
This place is always packed however, they get you in there quickly and they get your meal to you quickly, and it's always hot

This restaurant is an old-style diner with echoes of the 1950s. I dined there on the morning of January 1st 2023 after about 4 hours of sleep (friends played music until 2 am) and the energy of the wait staff and the kitchen were much needed and very satisfactory. I paid a small price for an excellent meal. I live about an hour and a half from Peoria, IL and would definitely return to this establishment for another meal. Sincerely Yours, Br3nt

Disappointing. Link sausage saving grace of the meal, delicious. Biscuit of biscuits and gravy were overcooked and the texture was off-putting, gravy was a bit sweet. Sourdough toast was enjoyable. Scrambled eggs were overcooked, sunny-side-up eggs under done. Panfried hash browns were average. Raspberry tea was also very good. The service was excellent, our server was friendly and efficient, knew her stuff! Will not be returning.
