Love Food Lion. Now that we are boycotting Walmart. Just check the sales paper weekly they have some really good deals. The store is clean and people are friendly.

I unloaded my groceries from the cart in groups of how I wanted them bagged. I specified to my cashier that I didn't want my produce bagged with my frozen foods. She stopped bagging and passed the stuff down to the bagger who started to put my lettuce and tomatoes in the bag with the frozen foods. So I repeated my request to the bagger who replied "I always put my tomatoes in the refrigerator." I don't care what she does at her house but I don't want my produce bagged with my freezer items during a 2 hr trip back home. As for the meat selection it was awful. I wouldn't have fed any of it to my dogs! Nothing looked fresh, a lot of it was very brownish/grayish in color and was more fat than meat.

When you first walk into the store the strawberries are starting to mold I showed a manager that they were moldy and he just put them all back so that the rest of them would get exposed more to the mold. I don't understand why he wouldn't throw away the ones that are clearly rotting

Not only do both of there handicapped carts not work (I have a broken ankle and scoliosis to a severe degree) but they had staff everywhere watching people like they were gonna steal. I was in so much pain I just left my cart there and went to one that had working carts and didn't follow you around like you were a common criminal. Yikes. Never coming back here.

Shopped at this food lion while in the area for few months . Loved the store the employs and all . They were always on top of it all
