Terrible company to rent from. My daughter has been without gas for four days. No heat, no stove, no oven, no hot water. Now the power is out. The house is old and needs repairs. First Site refuses to provide temporary, safe, habitable housing for the five roommates while they work on repairs.

Resigning for a third time, and have had great experiences with all of the agents! They are all very friendly, helpful, and help you find the best place within your budget. I am moving to a new unit this year. Maintenance is great!!! Adding to my review: Just hope you don’t get your property vandalized! They do nothing about it. What a joke.

Leasing is easy, they honor appointments, unlike Young America; overall smooth experience with the agency itself, Taylor was tremendously helpful with signing.

That being said, rent prices are STEEP at this agency, especially for renting houses, where utilities aren’t included in the lease.

$600+/month/person is the price you have to pay for good/passable service in Normal; a fact that points to a wider issue with powerful, borderline monopolistic rental agencies, in addition to faulty student housing zoning ordinances.

First Site is able to get away with charging the prices that they do because every other rental agency in Normal sucks. Something needs to be done.

Good work is being done to ensure a good customer experience, I recognize and appreciate that. A smooth experience is difficult to provide, with extra costs that make life difficult for a lessor, like repairs and maintenance. However, this kind of service ought to be the norm. It shouldn’t cost this much of a premium to rent with a competent agency.
