I hate leaving a bad review for anyone but I had 2 bad experiences with this place . I needed a bobcat mt100 for a job so I called and reserved one they gave me a Vermeer 725 that isn’t even comparable to the machine I was told I would get . I didn’t know this till after I paid so I tried to use it thinking they knew better then me and wasted an entire day just to have to rent one from somewhere else . However I called and explained to them if it didn’t work I wanted my money back after some back and forth with the staff I got a refund and was told that’s just how it is in their system I guess they have a misleading system and no one knows what your actually renting in the office .
I come back a few weeks later to purchase a concrete breaker they have online after doing a lot of research I decided I would go take a look at it . The site has make model part number etc . Again it wasn’t what was advertised. All they told me was I can see how this can be mis leading and I left . It’s not misleading it’s a lie it’s false advertising. I’ve used this rental company for a long time I’ll never go back

Had a great experience here, they are very welcoming and don't make you feel dumb for asking amateur questions. They take their time with you and are very nice. Now that I know this place exists I will be coming here for my rental needs, I can't wait to rent a bobcat next year. Before I buy anything for a one time project I will see if First place rental has it first!

Excellent owners with a customer comes first attitude. They have been in business almost 20 years. Treat everyone like family. Clean and well maintained equipment. Not a corporate atmosphere. Prices are very fair and they will work with you on them depending on the situation. Will be renting all of my equipment here from now on.

This place is great they are really the first place to call when you need a rental. The staff is knowledgeable and able to work with you for just about anything. The service is also number one. They have a second location in Sandwich that is also great little smaller than the Oswego location. They also have a first rate repair shop. The equipment they carry is well maintained and if you have an issue they really work to get you back on the job.

Friendly, fast, and affordable. Had my equipment ready to go when I got there. Maybe spent 3 minutes total there. That includes loading and unloading. Saved me time and money. This will be my#1 choice for rental equipment in the future! No headaches just fast and friendly service!

I recently rented a 20" x 30" party tent and several chairs from First Place Rental. I couldn't have been happier with the experience. The staff were extremely helpful and flexible, the equipment was very clean and in great condition, and the tent came with clear instructions for set up and tear down--not to mention their prices were the best I could find in the area. First Place is definitely my first choice.
