The most important things were great. The staff was friendly. The rooms and pool were clean. The beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay again. The only gripes I have was with poor internet connection and not very good coffee. But all in all, it’s a great place to stay. Convenient location.

Welcoming and clean. Clora and the team were very warm, helpful and treated us like family. The nice lady that provided breakfast was also exceptionally kind and accommodating. I will stay here again when we return to see more of the state parks and waterfalls.

This was a nice hotel. The room was fresh and clean. I looked forward to their breakfast. This was actually the first time I'd seen the pancake making machine. I love it because it doesn't make the pancakes too thick. My only reason for 3 stars is that 2 nights in a row, my car got a scrape mark around the same place on the top of the trunk. When I noticed the first mark, I thought maybe I hadn't noticed it before. Then, the next day, there was another one in the same location, as if something either swiped or had been drugged across the top of the trunk. I reported it to the hotel thinking they would be glad to look into what could have happened, or happening; that they would pull video footage and investigate, but no, they directed me to contact the police. To me, it just seem like something they could have investigated in house.

Very nice hotel, the staff is very friendly. Didn't realize we had to request for room service everyday. At other places they just come in and clean the rooms and put fresh towels
The pool was cold the 2 times we stayed there.
Breakfast was good, but the sandwiches get a little soggy sitting in the pans, but overall it's a very nice place.

This is our second time as a company staying with Fairfield Inn.The last time we stayed with Fairfield and we had a horrible experience. We had an issue with a staff member named Crystal. When we asked to speak with a manager we were told that a general manager by the name Amy would be in to speak with us. We waited until almost check out which was 11 am for Amy to get to the hotel. The first experience with Amy was horrible rolling her eyes smacking her lips overall just making us feel very uncomfortable like we were a burden. The staff member who advised us the night before that Amy the gm would be in at 8 am 830 the latest to discuss our concerns and issues. Qell Amy did not arrive until almost 11 am check out time!! She was very agitated with our issue. After we explained to amy what happen she pretty much said she had no control over her staff when she is not there. So after some thought we notifed our HR department who set up the reservation for 9 people that we would try the hotel one more time. Which leads me to this visit we just had as a group of 16 employees. Upon arriving we provided the desk clerk with a credit card for Incidentals. Shortly after checking in and dealing with the line we got a notification stating that our credit card had been charged a large amount from the hotel. After we went down to the front desk to see what the issue was. We showed the front desk agent our charges and examined that all of our teams room charges should have been paid for with the company credit card.Agter being told that the refund had to be done by a manager the front desk agent advised us that Amy the General manager would be there at 8 am and could fix this error. Since we had an issue before and Amy was the Manger who would be assisting us with this error. Come morning time we are waiting like the last time for Amy to arrive. AMY ARRIVED 15 MINUTES PAST 10 AM she looked like she just rolled out of bed!! As Amy got close enough to us we could smell the harsh oder of alcohol. Very unprofessional not only that but she drove and you could see she parked taking up two parking spaces.. (NotSafeAtAll) we explained to her what the issue was but also explained that we are unhappy with our stay the room and the fact that our card was charged a large sum of money our company was covering. She rollld her eyes and made it seem as though she did not want to be bothered with our issue. We explained the way she acted last time we had an issue she flat out card u lier and Advised us thatif she wad able to refund us it would take 7 to 10 business days for our credit card to reflect the refund. At this point we are upset and my coworker was on the phone with our hr Department explaining what issues we are having this time. As I explained to her that the only reason we tried to give the hotel a second time was because of a nice young lady named Devida. Which i know why she is no longer there is because what Randy and I seen the morning before the last time we stayed stayed this same manager showed up hours late to relieve the young lady of her shift she worked all night before the poor girl was yelled at which should have been a red flag for us Not to return again after witnessing that. We will no longer be booking with fair field or Marriott hotels again we decided to retire our points and let our work know never to book with Marriott on our next business trip to peru/ottawa area.It is sad that one Manager who is put in charge of keeping a hotel running and keeping business flowing be the reason why the hotel looses 16 employees business and potential guest who may have wanted to stay there before this reviethe review slreadsr before the word of mouth spread about the horrible hospitality experience. I would recommend staying at the Quality Inn and or the Hampton Inn & Suites. Also after asking for corprates number again I was advised again by Amy that she could not provide me with that number I'm sure if new management was to take over we would try again.Marriott please choose your manager better.
Sincerely,
A Concerned Gues

Stayed there 10/13. The hotel is very nice. The issue we had was our room had dozens of Ladybugs on the curtains and around the window. Not a major deal but don't like any bugs in our room. When we told the kid at the front desk about it he said nobody from maintenance was working that night. He did give us a vacuum to use and we cleaned up the bugs ourselves. The hotel seemed under staffed and the young man working the front desk was very nonchalant about everything.

Room was good. Service was good. Don't like that they precharge you for incidentals and then refund you later. Apparently cleaning starts at 7 am on Saturdays..... With a jackhammer. This is one of the loudest hotels I stay at. Bring headphones or earplugs
