I had a package dropped off and it was two men dropping it off and one of them was awesome and the other one was crazy rude, he asked me to help them get it off the truck after which I said I had a physical disability and couldn’t help. The guy looked at me and directly asked “what kind of disability do you have?!” I just walked away.

Responding To Express : I spoke with a representative on the phone and they called another person who is over the employee and said it was being handled. I told them I would just imagine that anyone who owns this company wouldn’t want their own employees saying things of this nature.

Soooo sssslllooowww. No wonder Amazon is taking over the world. Uber freight or someone needs too modernize this old trucking industry. Package has been sitting in Bham and no one has scheduled delivery. Now they are blaming the “last mile carrier” smh Excuses excuses

Very disappointed in the manner in which the Birmingham Facility has responded or the lack there of to help with the solution of delivering my order. I was told that I could come pick it up myself or I'd just have to wait until the next day. I asked for management to call me with the status and no one has called me back nor are they answering the phone. June 23, 2023

I want to thank the Estes team for their hard work during this hectic time. They kept me up to date on my delayed shipment and brought just a wonderful driver in Mike Lovell. A pallet was messed up and Mike was such a helping hand and had a service with a smile. You got a winner if Mike is delivering for you

Not good for residential delivery especially for heavy objects. They would prefer to just drop it off in the street. Treated it like a Commercial delivery and you deal w/ the rest. Driver was not willing to maneuver to make it easier for drop off either. Not willing to go the extra mile. unless you pay $$$. They had to drive up a steep incline to get to my house the short bed trailer. Its contents were not secured and toppled over inside it looked like a mess in there. Looked like they "footed' the produce causing some minor delamination on my package. I'll try someone else next time. Don't sign off if you are not happy cause that's all the driver cares about. That's your legal LEG to stand on. Once you sign Game over!

I ordered an item from Amazon and Estes was used as its carrier. I ordered on March 21st and since March 25th the system stated that it was shipped. When I contacted the seller, I was informed to contact Estes since that's the carrier. Estes stated that the shipment is still on its way to the Birmingham site. My package arrived at this site at 6A.M. on April 6th. The seller already informed me that I have to schedule a delivery with this location once mynitems has arrived. Since April 6th through April 8th, I was informed by the receptionist that my package is still on their truck and it wont get delivered the date it was supposed to arrive which was April 8th. I was informed that they use a 3rd party to deliver to residential. So the Birmingham site was negligent to time sensitive items. I was informed that I would receive my items a week later. Mind you, this site is only 25 minutes away from my home. I was advised by the receptionist that I can come to their site to pick up my package. That would require me to get a Uhaul, pay that out of my pocket and get someone to unload the Uhaul. Which I find this to be unprofessional and unjust. Luckily, the seller understood what being reliable means and provided me the fundings to get a Uhaul to get my shipment from this site. Going forward, if I ever order anything from any site and it requires Birmingham Estes to deliver it to me then I will cancel and order from somewhere else. They have no sense of how professionalism, time sensitive and customer service looks like. They definitely need a different organization skills within this location.

I wouldn't recommend this company.
Estes express delivery date was April 25th and it arrived the 25th at the birmingham terminal but when I called to schedule to get a delivery time ,they said it would not deliver on that day and I had wait two days for a call. Guess ,no call. I went on there site just to check on what to do ,looked at my tracking number again and it said they made an attempt to deliver on April 25th , which was a lie. To make this story short , I had to pick it up. I never got the call.

I am of the opinion that Estes Express Lines is the best LTL carrier out there. They're efficient, helpful when there's an issue, deliver when they say they will and their customer service is second to none.
