Emily Baker is one of the best! She’s very attentive and cares about the well-being of her patients. I went in with severe pain in both knees, I have bone spurs on top and bottom of both knee caps as well as arthritis. She allows you to ask your questions and will not rush you. I felt like I had a knee replacement after my injections yesterday. Thanks Doc Baker

In April of 2021 I was led to OrthoCarolina to seek care for an knee replacement that was infected. Traveling to Charlotte was an inconvenience since I live in Asheville, but surgeons told me about Dr. Otero and his PA Emily Baker and their expertise with infected devices. I am so very glad I listened and was treated by Dr. Otero and Emily Baker. My knee was in very bad shape but thanks to OrthoCarolina and the best surgical team in North Carolina I now have a knee revision free from pain and infection. Despite significant bone and tissue loss, my new implant is perfect and my pain is gone. I will never be able to adequately thank Emily Baker for her expertise, care, and support during this very difficult time. Emily is brilliant and highly skilled and her care and bedside manner enabled me to heal well. I simply cannot imagine any better care -Emily Baker and Dr. Otero are my heroes. They are truly dynamic duo superheroes. I was blessed to be led to their care…. I can again visualize a positive future for myself because of their amazing skills. They are simply sublime! Thinking about receiving a gel knee injection is usually terrifying to most people. However, Emily Baker, PA-C has a gift for performing this procedure, and I pray that she will always be available to see me at CarolinaOrtho. She has a wonderful professional manner with her patients-- empathetic, kind, knowledgeable, takes time to listen and explains everything in easy to understand terminology. As long as these injections continue to keep my knee joint pain free, appointments I make will only be with the best PA-C, Emily Baker!!
