First the good. They gave a quick reply to my original internet inquiry. Good communications via email between myself and the shipper. Prompt notification of shipment arrival. Now the not-so-good. I specifically asked Tom about storage fees before using their services. It was explained that they cannot control Customs or how quickly the shipment could be cleared. I was told I very well might be charged for a few days storage, which I understood. As it turns out, my shipment was cleared within 3 days of arrival. All well and acceptable to this point. Then I am told the airline has a minimum storage fee that covered the first ten days of storage. This was through Qatar Airlines. I highly doubt this is the first overseas shipment Edward Zarach has handled with Qatar as the transporter, yet I was led to believe I may be on the hook for a few days of storage, which is far different than a known flat fee that covers the first ten days. In my opinion, I was not given the details of a direct question that I asked of them. So, while all other aspects of the service were good, I cannot recommend or give a favorable review due to them not being forthright with answers I am sure they were aware of. I will continue to look for an honest, upfront importer.
