Hired Dreiskie movers to move one shop to another. I wasn’t to concerned as most of the items were just overstock but I did have two full pallets of brand new hardwood flooring for my house as well as some high end furniture pieces. My company builds custom hand crafted cabinets and furniture built of solid wood and is built solid. All of the pieces were standing upright and in perfect condition.
Mid day I go to see how the guys are coming along and as I come around the corner I see all my wood flooring scattered all over the ground like pixi sticks. I said hey! This flooring is brand new and is now visually damaged. None of them say a single word. I took pictures and went back to my office. At the end of the day I drove over to the new shop to find all my cabinets stacked, on there sides, scratched up, and one with busted off legs. The pile is large so it will take me a day to go through but what damage I could see was substantial.
The team leader for the company told me I needed to pay the balance, I asked him what about all the damage? He said yeah you can file a claim, but I need to get payment first, so I went to the website and found absolutely nothing on the process to make a claim so I told him once I find out how to make a claim I will make payment and that I needed to go through the pile the very next day to find if there is any more damages, he replied that’s fine, but I need you to make payment first I told him no I was not going to make payment until I reviewed all the damages and then I had no problem making a payment, but that I wanted to know what the process was for making a claim all he kept saying was you can make a claim after payment but you can’t do it first refusing to make payment he called the office and Kathey in accounting department called me and told me that I needed to make payment or I was breaking the law and that she would call the cops and have me arrested. I told her I needed to know the process for making a claim because there was a substantial amount of damage and that I had no problem making payment, but I wanted to review all the damages and then make payment and make a claim she told me no you cannot do this. You have to make payment first then claim I felt it was a bait and switch dealso I refused to make payment without receiving information on the claim first, I emailed Kathey and she emailed me back a claim form and when I went back to the property to pay the guys they not only charged me, but they also charged me for the time that they were sitting waiting for Kathey to email me the form so now costing me over $2000 for eight hours and having thousands of dollars in damage that I can almost guarantee will never get paid back. It’s unfortunate when companies like this take advantage of their customers. I doubt I will get any payment for the damages so beware of this and I would not recommend using dreiskie movers.
Not only did they do a horrible job moving and cost me thousands but they also left a mess for me to clean up.

The Dreiske moving company was AMAZING! Extremely helpful and professional setting up and planning the move, and the team was nice, strong, they worked hard and hustled and even finished sooner than estimated. Would highly recommend.

My elderly parents had a less-than-favorable moving experience with Dreiske. I was there during the move and am writing this review on their behalf. The movers were courteous, but they did not take the time or effort to protect or wrap bed frames, dressers, the entertainment center, end tables, floor lamps, etc. Only two glass table tops were wrapped in padding. As a result, many furniture items were broken, damaged, chipped, and/or scuffed. Some is to be expected, but this seemed like more than average.

I wrote to the company to express our dissatisfaction and received an immediate response. They were grateful for the feedback and assured us that this experience would serve as a learning opportunity for their staff. We appreciated the apology and acknowledgement that the service my parents received was not on par with what Dreiske promises. We were impressed that the company offered what seemed like a sincere apology and a promise to help make things right. Then it got weird: They sent a check that was framed as a refund of the additional liability coverage premium my parents had paid to protect their possessions--that framing made it seem more like an attempt to wipe the company's hands clean of any responsibility rather than a gesture of good faith. My parents could have filed a claim but decided it wasn't worth it (and they didn't want me to spend time on it either). They just wanted to put this behind them and look forward.

Hoping this was a one-off, but it's unfortunate my parents' experience had to be the one. Attached are some examples of the damages.

Great experience with Dreiske Moving today! They did a great job! The two guys who moved our items today were very courteous, polite and friendly. They had a great attitude. They moved the items very carefully and did everything we wanted. They were very efficient and knew exactly what to do. Dreiske Moving & Storage paid attention to my needs and circumstances. I was particularly nervous about having my grandmother's china cabinet moved as it has semi curved glass and is approximately 100 years old.
Emmanuel and Hugo wrapped it extremely well to ensure it moved without any issues. They both did a fantastic job. I am beyond pleased with their expertise and taking great care of my items.
