Came for a quick drink with a friend, ended up eating dinner, Marsela and Yolanda waited on us. I had Baja tacos and my friend had chili Colorado. The food was great, service was excellent! Very friendly atmosphere and made us feel welcome .

Hands down, the best Mexican restaurant in Homer. I Highly recommend this place enough to anyone visiting Homer. The food? Absolutely delicious 🤤, 10/10 no doubt. And we're loving the vibes here. Massive shoutout to our server, Chala, for going above and beyond in ensuring we got exactly what we wanted 🙌. My husband couldn't be happier with his birthday dinner 🎂🥳. Totally in love with this place ❤️will visit again❤️

Fresh and authentic!

We appreciate the authentic and fresh food. We always get at Don Jose’s. The bonus is the wonderful people who work there.

We have had many of the menu items and find the servings to be generous.

Ask for the special Yolandarita!!

This is an awesome family who has been in Homer for a very long time. Anyone who knows them will tell you they are the most generous, hard-working folks around.

We have always liked this place but now I can say I love it! They have a new cook and it has taken their food to a new level of awesome! My only reason for a 4 instead of 5 is cuz they changed the rice. Once they bring back the old rice I will give it a 5! I love the friendly service, they are quick too, and never pushy or make you feel rushed. It's such a lovely experience.

I was pleasantly surprised that the food was very much like the Don Jose's in Southern California where I used to live. It's not a franchise like most others, like Subway and McDonald's, and that is very cool. The food was very good and oh man, the Cadillac margarita was oh so delicious (made with Patron). The server, sadly I don't remember her name, was a delight and was also the maker of the margarita.

Don Joses in Homer is our go to family spot. Friendly, amazing with our kiddo, the food is always good and the margaritas are yummy too. Forgot to take photos until halfway through it's that yummy. Highly recommend!

Love going here. Food is great, price is very reasonable and service is on point. We love Linka and Yolanda, they are always friendly and take great care of us. If you're looking for a great place to sit down and eat I highly recommend going here.
