This is one of the worst courts in Virginia. When you file a homestead your checks should be returned to your job once the case is dismissed. Instead of doing that the clerk kept my checks never notified me the case was dismissed. They pretended they didn’t know anything. The judge and clerk needs to be fired. I’m filing a law suit against the county of Dinwiddie government! Appeals are only 10days not two months later. They allow anything there. I’ve never had this issue in Chesterfield on top of that I don’t even reside in Dinwiddie county. They do sloppy work. I don’t know how they’re allowed to keep their jobs. This courthouse needs to be investigated.

Went in there on 8/22 for a court date and say that we have on the 27. We asked for a permission slip for my son and she gave us a nasty response.

Terrible online system. Tried to pay for a small traffic ticket and the system charged me 7 times and then I get a notice for not paying so my fine increases… tried to fax over my proof- no one received it. An absolute mess and no one offered any real help so I ended up paying almost double for NO reason.

Terrible answering service. No one picks up the phone and you keep getting rerouted to the same place. The court house is an important institution and it should be easily accessible. Extremely unprofessional!!!!

Amazing legal experience. Never in my life have I had such a pleasant courtroom experience. The judge and bailiffs were all extremely friendly and cordial.

The website is useless. When you call the general district court clerk's office it's a waste of time. You automatically get sent to a voice mail and they never call back . Worst courthouse in VA
