Great food/desert - pathetic customer service

I had the chance to visit Desert Nutrition twice during our recent trip, and while the food—especially the frozen bowl—was absolutely fantastic, the overall experience left something to be desired due to the unfriendly staff.

Let’s start with the good: the frozen bowl was a real highlight. It was refreshing, delicious, and well-prepared. You can tell that some thought has gone into crafting their menu, especially for those looking for healthier or more unique snack options. The place itself is decent in terms of cleanliness and setup, with a modern feel and a layout that could make it a go-to spot for locals and tourists alike.

However, the customer service was disappointing on both of our visits. The staff seemed disengaged and unwelcoming, almost as if they were actively avoiding interaction with customers. No greeting, no smile, and minimal communication, which really brought down the vibe of the place. Good food can only do so much when the people serving it make you feel like a burden.

With a bit more warmth and attentiveness from the team, this place could truly be amazing. For now, I’d say go for the frozen bowl—it’s worth trying—but don’t expect friendly service.

What a great place for healthy, gluten-free smoothies, waffles, and more! We ordered an acai bowl, smoothies, and different flavors of waffles. Everything tastes fantastic! Beautiful decor.

The smoothies were terrible. I got the Acai Berry and my mother the Pumpkin Spice. I think there was way too much plant protein powder added, and it made the entire flavour chalky. Not only that, but I could barely taste the actual açai nor berries in my smoothie, and the pumpkin spice one was just sweet and chalky. Disappointed because the drinks were quite expensive.

Awful taste. Took forever. Over $50 for 4 items. Do not recommend! The lady was nice, and it’s a cute place, but it just took forever and did NOT taste good. I was really looking forward to my açaí berry bowl. I was very disappointed that it was nasty tasting (had an odd flavor to me and another family member who tried it) and no one else liked their stuff (2 different smoothies and 2 different bowls).

So happy to find this cute smoothie shop in here. It's very clean, with vegan options, the staff is nice and the smoothie was great. We got The Dessert Sky with blue spirulina, pineapple, mango and hint of orange.

Really, really disappointing.
We paid over $60 for a couple of açaí bowls, a smoothie, and a waffle. Waited 20 minutes. All were disgusting. I specifically asked her if they use any syrups or artificial flavors in the smoothies and she said no, but I’m absolutely sure that was a lie.
The smoothies tasted ***extremely*** artificial. Our brother bought a $10 smoothie, took one sip and had to throw the entire thing out. It was a berry colada smoothie and tasted like ice slightly flavored with bubblegum syrup. I wish we would have asked for a refund.
We wouldn’t recommend this place at all. We wound up just going to the local grocery store instead.

The staffs are nice, the flavors could be better.
I ordered acai berry but it lacks berry flavor, it’s not too sweet though. The protein coffee is okay .

was in page for a trip and stopped by here because i was craving an açaí bowl! this place is the cutest spot, so welcoming Melissa was so super sweet i got the desert sky bowl it was delicious and the perfect size i love that that offer two different sizes in the bowls. check them out!!
