I love this place. There's tacos .Are awesome. They're very full of very good sesend ground beef and lettuce, and the best cheese and tomatoes making myself hungry. And the strawberry shakes are the best. You can get real chunks of real strawberries and very, very tasty at good price.

Normally, I love Del Taco. This one has never done me wrong. Until last night. I debated putting this review on here, because usually staff is friendly, food is cooked well and good, and I have a pleasant experience.

Now, I will preface this with staff had every right to be upset if they heard the unsavory comments made by the person on speakerphone.

That being said, the quesadilla I ordered was not even close to being cooked. The shredded cheese used for it was clumped at the bottom of a cold tortilla with some meat at the top. I had not eaten all day and felt a headache coming on, and scarfed down the cold cheese and meat sandwich even though I could not tell if it had touched a griddle long enough to even pretend to be cooked. It certainly did not feel like it.

So this long story is only to remind people to be nice to your service workers. I am truly sorry if the person taking our order or other staff heard what this person on the phone said, and had their shift ruined by it.

Great employees that are very friendly. We were just passing through and LOVE Del Taco. Food was served fast and hot. We were able to get back on the road quickly to continue our trip.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food actually tastes like it should, real ingredients unlike Taco Bell. I appreciate the deals and specials that they have .

Food is great but if I could give service zero stars I would. They are always rude. 6 out of ten times they will give you your order with missing items. I’m telling you the night crew there is the staff from hell. Don’t order chips and queso there. You will never get your chips. If you go back around through the drive thru again and tell them they will laugh at you. Then they will give you a bag with one chip in it. Management seriously needs to spend a couple nights with the night crew and fix them. They are the rudest of any restaurant we have ever been to. But their food is really good. Only reason we go back and deal with their ridiculousness.

I bought 4 items, did not receive one item a Crunchy DelTaco, and the bean burrito was green even though I asked for a red sauce burrito.

Also- night shift at this location are more interested in laughing and standing around talking more than working. The time before this time I ordered frys, there were none, so they made fresh frys and then made them extra crispy... I heard the buzzer on the machine going off for a while, and the employees were just standing around talking.
I just threw the frys away and walked out. I had already finished by the time I got my crunchy frys.
It's too bad because i feel they are lower priced than Taco Bell. If I go during dayshift and eat in the restaurant... the food is also better than Taco Bell.

This is by far the BEST del taco I've ever eaten at! The food is amazing! The staff is always kind and get your order right every time. The drive through is always quick and the food hot and fresh! I don't even go to Taco Bell anymore because this Del Taco smokes them in competition. I highly recommend this place.

Why don't we have a Del Taco in San Mateo? It was my ho to place for a delicious, fresh, bite. Used the drive thru, our order came out quick and fresh. The aroma from the bag was so inciting, we decided to pistol and it the food.
