We moved over 900 miles during a polar vortex. The Davie family were amazing. They packed our whole home and garage quickly and delivered on time. Not a single scratch or dent on our furniture. Not a single broken item. They did several extra services such as covering mattresses and setting up all the beds. They protected the floors in both houses. They took care of our belongings as if they were their own. They make the deal on a handshake. They are an asset to Southern Illinois. Make sure to schedule them early. They made moving stress free. Davie Transfer is a wonderful company.

All 4 of the suggested reasons for my liking Davie Transfer are true-- good quality, good value, professional, responsive--but I could add so MANY more: punctual, polite, efficient, hard-working (even in hot humid weather & making many trips up/ down stairs), clean (workers, equipment, vehicles), very reasonable price, family owned & operated, pleasant (on the phone & in person)......
We have used Davie Transfer twice--once for a long distance transfer, and today for a very short distance. Both jobs were rather complicated & unique, and both were handled very carefully & efficiently. Arriving at the appointed time, the crew got right to work, wasted no time loading and unloading and finished in an amazingly short time.
If we ever have need for movers again, there is no question who we will call! We HIGHLY recommend Davie Transfer!!!

We used Davie to move us to our new home and on two subsequent moves of small scale. Each time the communication on the front end for scheduling and information was helpful and friendly, including the need to reschedule for weather. The moving team arrived on time and were very friendly and professional. They were careful in their handling of our belongings. As sometimes happens though, something can occur that was unexpected. The details of that are not what is important. What is important to know is that Davie Transfer is a great company to trust for your moves, and to be equally skilled at handling anything that may arise which could be problematic. We respect their work and their integrity.

Great Moving Company. Davie recently moved us from Marion IL to Las Vegas. The worked with us to do a door -to- door move and it went perfect. This is a family owned business and they do an absolutely great job. They did a great and quick job loading all our stuff. Kevin was just great to deal with. Delivery was right on schedule and we had ZERO damage. Thanks for a great move and very reasonable rates

We had them transfer a Grand Style piano from Marion to W. Frankfort. Very heavy! They more than exceeded our expectations....!!
