I had a horrifying experience with a Dan Bailey Trucking driver in Sardine Canyon (about 1:05pm). The driver, pulling two trailers from the gravel pits, recklessly pulled out in front of me while I was traveling northbound. The second trailer didn’t even clear the northbound lanes, forcing me to slam on my brakes and fishtail into the gravel pit road to avoid a collision. I came dangerously close to rolling my truck. I believe the trailers were red. I think the gab was yellow.

Even more infuriating, the driver just kept going as if nothing had happened, without bothering to stop or check if I was okay. When I called the company to report this reckless behavior, I was sent to a voicemail and, unsurprisingly, have heard nothing back.

This driver’s complete disregard for safety is disgusting. If this is how they operate, I wouldn’t trust them to haul anything safely.

Driver today, about 4:40pm, north bound on the on ramp from Riverdale road onto I 84 merged way before merging lane, traffic had to slam on brakes to avoid him, a long with no turn signal. Then at the merge of I 84 and I 15, again no turn signal Cut a vehicle off to move into the the left lane. But never moved into the left lane, he straddled the dotted line for quite some time. This driver was driving as he owns the road. He will some day cause a major accident driving the way he was driving. This older man with long gray beard needs to find a new profession. He does not belong on the road driving a dump truck. Very unprofessional.

NB I-15 around 3:40pm one of their dump truck drivers (older man with a long grey beard) tried to run me off the freeway twice, on purpose, for no reason whatsoever, never used his signal and was all over the road. When I was finally able to pass him he already had his hand up flipping me off. Absolutely terrifying to see see a complaint below from 3 weeks ago nearly identical—why is this man still employed?

Driving South on I-15 Saturday an uncovered Dan Bailey truck threw a ton of gravel and cracked my windshield in two places. Craig called back Monday morning and we got it resolved instantly. It’s nice to see a company take responsibly and take care of something they get a lot of dishonest calls about. Thank you Dan Bailey Trucking for being an upstanding company!

Dropped my tanker’s endorsement and was late because I was taking my kids to school and then had my job threatened twice never again will I work for them or recommend them to anyone

This is the worst truck company I have ever worked with. The driver came to take our load and had no idea what he was picking up. We had that our HVAC units needed to be chained to the bed and tarped. When asked he said he didn't know what was being transported, dimensions or anything about the load. Was very rude and yelled at all of us for asking where his equipment was. Will never us them again. Advise you to use anyone else.

There was an accident on I15 in Ogden today southbound between 21st and 31st Street. One of your drivers was sort of trapped on the on ramp with almost no movement in the main flow travel lanes. I wasn’t moving much so I stayed still and let him in. Not too long after we got moving again I realized that the lane we were in was blocked by the accident and emergency vehicles. I turned on my turn signal to start my move over when I realized the Dan Bailey truck I let in was now stopping to let me in. Huge thank you to your driver!

One of their drivers ran me off the road on purpose in the canyon and proceeded to try and speed away from me, I caught up and took pictures of their license plate and called the police. The driver kept trying to get away and gave me dirty looks, apparently I'm not the only person to have this experience with this trash company. I will be contacting the BBB as well as sharing my experience with this company anywhere I can as it was very bad. Get better drivers Dan and quit being a joke.
