After seeing an advertisement for the parade and tree lighting on a Birmingham TV station we decided as a family to travel to Cullman for the festivities. After arriving early, we patronized a few local shops, got hot chocolate and found a place where my children could see the parade. I was under the impression that the sidewalks and right away were public property but apparently I was mistaken. My entire family was pushed aside without acknowledgement of existence by the drunken, obnoxious crew that spilled from the Cullman Economic Development building. They stepped on us, pushed us away from a spot we patiently waited in for over an hour. Shame on you. We came to your town for what you advertised. Apparently your brand of economic development doesn't know it's place.
