I recently shipped a large haul of various items (glassware, china, musical instruments, paintings) from the US to the UK. Mike was such a pleasure to work with - quick to get back to me with my concerns and willing to go above and beyond in helping me do this. Their custom crating and packing was top notch. Everything arrived in perfect order, and Mike kept me informed about the entire process. And best of all, the price was extremely reasonable. Will 100% work with them again for shipping!

I had such an amazing experience working with Mike at Craters & Freighters. I was in Richmond on vacation and found a very heavy and breakable piece of art that I couldn't live without so the antique store I bought it from recommended Mike as the person that could ensure it would get back to San Francisco in tact.
Mike responded to my inquiry right away, we had a discussion about the piece and then he got me an extremely reasonable estimate which I of course agreed to.
I received my piece a couple days ago in a perfectly crated packing situation and I could not be more grateful. My boyfriend was also wildly impressed with the professionalism and care of which Mike and his company handled the piece of artwork and was blown away at the price we paid, it could've been double the price, especially in SF, CA.

I have been running capital equipment companies for more than 30 years, and we have always done our own crating. We recently had an urgent requirement for crating several machines for an overseas shipment, and we contacted Craters & Freighters of Richmond to get some help. I could not be happier with their response. Our schedule kept changing, but they never complained. They were extremely responsive to every request we made. They did an outstanding job with the actual crating, and their pricing was reasonable. We will be using them for all of our future crating needs!
