Top notch packing and shipping service. I'd purchased an antique cocktail cabinet, and needed it shipped from Dallas to Tampa. Craters & Freighters' communications with me was outstanding. When we received the item, it was amazingly well packaged. I've received furniture pieces from other carriers before - with mixed results. I have never seen an item more carefully wrapped or packaged. The cabinet arrived in pristine condition. Their services are worth every penny.

It took over 2 weeks from the date I purchased an item at auction to have it finally arrive. They are about the most confused group of people I've ever dealt in regard to shipping art work. After several emails and at least a half dozen phone conversations I finally called the Auction house and got them to intervene on my behalf. I asked repeatedly to notified by email or a phone call as to when my package was going to be shipped. I was never provided any shipping information. It show up at the house without notice and just I was leaving on a trip. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars and not 1 star was because the packing was excellent and once it was shipped it arrived quickly. I'll NEVER use this company again.

Hand-carved corner cabinet shipped to Oslo, Norway from Dallas, Texas. Visited Norway recently and saw the cabinet in its new "home" - no scratches or marks on it! My cousin and her husband told me it was very well protected and crated. Good job, folks!

Made it clear that the item was to be shipped in a custom wood crate. Paid extra for that service. Item was shipped in a cardboard box and forklift forks were driven through it. Item was severely damaged. Will never use Craters and Freighters again. I gave them an extra star because they are paying for the damage.
