I am a loyal customer who comes into Courageous Bakery a few times every week. The food and service are excellent. I have been eating here for several years, almost since Day one. I was reading some of the reviews that folks have posted, and a few of the negative reviews have blatantly false information and pictures attached. I have never eaten bad food here. Everything is high quality. Here is today's meal.

Highly recommend this place! I visited on a recommendation from the staff at Unity Temple, and I’m so glad I did.
I ordered the traditional breakfast, and though the menu listed a biscuit, the staff kindly let me swap it for toast. I opted for scrambled eggs, and I’d definitely suggest adding a sprinkle of pepper—it really enhances the flavor. The jam seems homemade, and both it and the butter were absolutely delicious. The potato wedges were seasoned with herbs and not overly salty, though the portion was a bit more than I could finish. The dining environment is bright and comfortable, and the bar seating by the window even has outlets, which is a nice touch.

Ordered the peach iced tea and it looked and tasted like water. Donut was extremely dry and all the frosting crumbled off, and had a small hair on it. Chocolate chip cookie was good, but almond croissant was like mushed dough. Don’t recommend this place for these items.

I've been meaning to eat here for awhile and I got the chance today with my mom and I liked the food here although it was a little pricey. I got the French toast and chocolate covered pretzel hot latte and I really enjoyed the latte, strong espresso flavor and not too sweet. The French toast was good but I probably wouldn't order it again.

My mom ordered chilaquiles verdes and she enjoyed it. Very generous portion and I enjoyed it as well. It's good to come here for a latte and maybe a pastry for next time.

Very nice cozy coffee shop. But their lattes and iced coffees lack flavor. I had a “White chocolate coconut” latte and it didn’t taste like coffee or chocolate or coconut. Just steamed milk. Kinda upsetting .

The gluten free banana bread and pumpkin bread are so good! Breakfast was great as well! 5/5 for food, drinks were not good so just recommend going for good food and gluten free options.

Colorful and fun pastry and coffee shop with wonderful sweets, and lunch food. We tried the excellent vegetarian tacos. Would come back.

This place is fantastic. The bakery items are fresh and moist. Breakfast items are delicious and served piping hot. Top notch place!
