Horrible Experience – Do Not Use Ciao Bella Moving Co LLC!

I had the misfortune of hiring Ciao Bella Moving for my recent move, and I cannot express enough how disappointing and frustrating the entire experience was. From the very start, the foreman was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Instead of helping to ease the stress of the move, his attitude only made things worse. He was dismissive, uncommunicative, and not at all helpful when I had questions or concerns.

On top of that, the packing was done sloppily and without any care. My high-end furniture was not handled properly, and as a result, several pieces were damaged. I trusted these movers to take care of my belongings, and they failed miserably. The lack of professionalism was clear, and I am now left dealing with expensive repairs and an overall ruined experience.

This move was far more stressful than it should have been, and I will never use Ciao Bella Moving again. I strongly advise against using their services if you care about your belongings and want a smooth, professional moving experience. Do yourself a favor and find a company that actually values its customers.

I had an excellent experience with Ciao Bella Moving Co LLC during my first out-of-state move. They provided a time window from 8 AM to 12 PM and arrived right at 8. Steve & Mjd patiently waited for me for nearly two hours. Their team is hardworking, understanding, and incredibly kind. They are true professionals who prioritize customer satisfaction. I highly recommend them! The best part was the peace of mind they gave me, knowing my belongings would be delivered safely to my new destination.

We were completely scammed by this moving company during our move from California to Houston, TX. Before booking and confirming all the details, we agreed on a fixed amount of approximately $2,300, which they also accepted. We were under the impression that they would honor this fixed amount, and no additional charges would be required during the delivery. However, on the day of delivery, the company told us that their truck was too large to fit through the main entrance gates of our apartment complex in Houston, and we would need to pay an additional $500 for them to transfer our belongings to a U-Haul and deliver it to our apartment. They sent us pictures from Google Maps showing that the main entrance gate was too small. We told them not to rely on Google Maps and that they should come check the entry in person, as it could easily accommodate a small mini-train. The leasing office had also informed us that there was no issue with the gate, as the main entrance was designed to accommodate a full-size fire truck. So, the gate was clearly not the issue; they were just trying to extract additional money from us.

We had no choice but to pay the extra $500 to get our belongings. Additionally, when the delivery was made, only one person showed up and said there would be an extra $100 charge for stairs, as stated in the contract. So, once again, we ended up paying more, bringing the total to $2,800 for just 10 boxes, a sofa, and a few chairs. This was an extremely frustrating experience, and we strongly recommend staying away from this moving company. They will agree to whatever price you set at the beginning, but trust me, they will come up with various excuses to charge you an additional $500-$600 at delivery, which is outrageous.

I basically have the same experience that the last person who gave a one star review had. Ciao Bella was hired through Safe Ship movers who was another company that I would not recommend. I paid ciao Bella over $3000 for full replacement value of anything that was broken, lost, etc. They have not honored their commitment and are offering me less than $200 for items that cost more than $200. I have never had a moving experience like this before, and although the men were very nice, they lost important, nostalgic pieces of art I had and broke several things. Safe Ship movers are another story which I will review on another pulse stay away from this company it’s not worth it. Use the larger companies if you want a safe moving experience that follows through with their commitments. This one did not in every way horrible experience!

Jordan and Steve came here yesterday to pick up our furniture and boxes. They worked quickly and efficiency. They prepared all items for shipping, protecting the fragile and sensitive ones. These guys are real professionals, caring for their work and respectful for customers. I hope that delivery will be executed with the same care.

The girl who called to confirm my time and date, messed up the date. When I got my confirmation text, and called because it had the day after she said, she had written "didn't answer and voicemail not available". She obviously realizes her mistake and was trying to hide it. Kinda Embarrassing.
Jordan and Steve picked up our stuff and did fast good work! My only complaint is they didn't wrap our couches in moving blankets, only plastic and now they both have ware on the back. And they are brand new so that was a bummer.
Hassan, John, and Mark all did an amazing job moving our stuff in! They all were very nice and great conversationalists without slowing the process.
