At the beginning of February, I came to the hardware store to see if I could find a way to join two downrods for my ceiling fan. Unfortunately, there was no ready-made tool to combine my specific downrods. However, I was fortunate enough to be helped by Jon, who looked through the items in his store and took me down to his workshop. He was determined to help me! He found a bit of bent metal pipe, made sure it fit inside my downrods, drilled holes in the pipe and downrods, and put screws through so the downrods could be joined. I’ve never received such kind, exemplary service from a shop before. Jon didn’t need to go such lengths to help me, but he did, and I am grateful that I now have a functioning ceiling fan. I needed to replace a standoff valve and the tool I had was not able to remove the stuck ferrule (brass sleeve). Churchill's had a much better-designed tool for the job and their price was very reasonable. The staff has a good idea of where things are and they stock some unusual but super handy items like the thick adhesive tape for wrapping around your pipe insulation.

What a great hardware store to have in Cameron Park. And easily located right off of 50.

This store has a little something for any of your home improvement needs. From yard stuff to hardware to plumbing, nails, screws and even items for pellet stoves.

Love the variety. It’s just enough. So glad when I can run in here to grab something and not have to drive to Folsom for the large big box store.

So helpful! They actually can answer questions about fuses and faucet cartridges. They had the products in stock that I needed when Ace Hardware was out of stock. Try them first!!!!

Unbelievable excellent service with a knowledgeable, friendly, helpful staff. This is one of the last GREAT neighborhood family-owned hardware stores around, they blow-away the big box stores with old fashioned personal SERVICE and large merchandise selection. I went in to purchase a bolt extractor and tap set, the owner John actually took the time to help, he drill-out the broken bolt and re-tapped the threads for me in his basement shop at the store- no charge!... WHO DOES THAT ANYMORE Again, unbelievable positive experience, thank you John for the GREAT service and thanks for your wonderful neighborhood Cameron Park store.

I love Churchhill’s! They are always so helpful and friendly! Just recently I needed Sterno for a Christmas party. No one had it but them, but they had closed at 6 and it was 6:10. I asked if they could wait for my son to get there since my party was starting at 7:00 and I needed it for my chafing dish. They waited for him. Thank you, Churchhill! 👍👍👍
