Go to this store and play the game called "what's less than 10 years old in this store". Pastries are fresh, the dough was soft and sweet. Prices are unbeatable. The staff is super kind and fast. Coffee is quite decent too. They do have several spots for parking. Restrooms could be updated a little but finding these 1960's fixtures may be challenging.

I was blatantly ignored as I was coming to pick up an order, they literally took two people that came in after me. When I asked the woman that ignored me for the first customer after me, she actually said I don’t know out loud! Then the second cashier went and asked the next guy after me what he wanted, I visibly showed shock and asked again… why aren’t you getting my order. They waited til both were waited on and rudely asked what was the name under, I asked again why didn’t you take my order before the people that came in after me… she looked annoyed and when I turned to leave the other girl smirked and laughed. I’m not one to point to discrimination immediately as I’m a chef in the restaurant industry, and I understand all sorts of instances can lead to miscommunication. This wasn’t that at all, I turned away and went back to my car! I don’t understand how that’s even done so blatantly, and in a community with so much diversity surrounding it. They will never see my face again, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a business. Can’t believe it was at the hands of a fellow minority or perhaps they don’t consider themselves such as too.

I've seen this donut shop for ages and now that I've tried the donuts I can't believe how long I've waited.
I've only tried the glazed. They were fresh and warm and delicious. Perfect donut and not overly sweet.

I stopped by here because of the reviews and I was in the area. The apple fritter was bomb chef’s kiss. The kolache not so much. It’s all bread. Tiny piece of sausage. I wouldn’t go back for the kolache. I should’ve gotten a croissant. Those looked good. If the donut holes were warmed up, they could possibly be better, but definitely not cold

This local neighborhood donut shop has been serving tasty treats for decades in Houston. The sweet, fluffy, and tasty treats are served by a helpful and amazing staff. The donuts along with other pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and kolaches are a staple at this place. All the treats taste delicious. There is a selection of drinks along with coffee. Overall a great local shop to fulfill your sweet tooth or breakfast items.

I've been coming here for years. Everything is made fresh daily. The service is friendly and helpful. They give you free donut holes depending on how much you order. The donuts and sausage kolaches are always solid. It's a small shop with limited seating. We usually just get things to go.

Christy’s is a true gem! This place is the real deal. Their menu is simple and the vibe is vintage-diner-homey. The staff show patience and kindness while offering great suggestions to first-timers. Apparently they open at 4am and close around 2p (or whenever they sell out). The prices are extremely reasonable for what you get. My husband and I ate breakfast for less that $10. We each got a Kolache and a donut, which both just about melted in our mouths! It looks like a true hole in the wall and I would strongly recommend this as your go to morning pit stop.

If this place ever closed id probably cry and listen the cure. People there are awesome and super sweet...unless you are rude then you get what you deserve. Best donut spot in the are and possibly the city.
