C&E Carpentry recently completed a bathroom remodel for me. Chris and his team are outstanding, and so are their subcontractors! The bathroom job was complex, being in a log house, both due to the logs and beams, but also for trying to create a spa-like atmosphere that worked within the surroundings. The result was exactly my desired balance.
Every bit of the work was precise. They kept to their schedule *exactly* and even finished a bit early. They kept to the costs *exactly* while still being flexible to changes as the job proceeded. They cleaned up their work immaculately.
I have hired both great, good, and ok contractors during my life, but I have never had such a perfect, stress-free experience as this. If you are considering C&E, then just go ahead and choose them.

I had C and E Carpentry remove and replace the deck and they did a phenomenal job. From start to finish they were communicating the entire process. I would definitely use them again, As the pics do not do justice to the great job they did, Jesus and JR and Raphel were all part of the crew. We had a wedding on this deck and had a deadline to get it done, and they came thru for us. If you want a good company to work with look no further.

Chris is definitely in the top tier of contractors. His knowledge, and foresight is amazing. He is supported by a crew of skilled, dedicated and very personable individuals. His subs are the same way. He’s done projects for us as well as my mom. We enjoyed having them remodel for us and even looked forward to the days they would be onsite. Highly recommend.

I should have written this a long time ago. I was referred to Chris by another contractor who worked with him. Best referral ever- we had a tight budget and needed help with a remodel. Chris looked at my design ideas, and helped us adjust the design to keep things in our budget, or at least closer to it. Chris and the crew were all very nice and polite, and they did great work. I am so pleased with how everything turned out. I've called him two more times on other smaller projects we've decided to add on. Will definitely call if we decide to do any more work. I can't say enough good things, very good to deal with. I highly recommend.

These guys came out fixed a deck that I had built by another contractor locally in Elkton, VA. I should have hired C&E from the start. About a year later, I had C&E come out a stiffen the deck to support and 2,000 pound jet tub, and they once again impressed me with their professionalism, and craftsmanship!
