Don’t go to work for this company my husband did and they lie he showed up on a Monday the whole time they told him we will reimburse you your expenses getting here. They reimbursed less than half. They take 250 out of each check and you pay for your permits the routs they give you for your permits are confusing as heck. They paid the first week 400 plus only 300 reimbursement. Cargo boss won’t pay for my husbands last week of work. They also don’t work on the weekends and since he arrived on a Monday and they didn’t get him in a truck and on the road until Wednesday his 34 hr reset was in the middle of the week after only making 400 the week before he asked them to get close to the house so he could sell some stuff so we could pay our bills they told him he would have to be there 2 weeks before he could have anytime off. Then tell him on Saturday to do another 34 hr reset. If you abandon the truck they charge you 5,000 so we drove the truck back up there over the weekend and left it in the yard. They are ignoring us and won’t pay his last check. They tell you there is a sign on bonus until you get there then say there is no sign on bonus. Stay away from this company please.
Edited to add we brought the truck back to chicago the very same place we picked it up at. We took pictures of it in the yard we returned it to. Do not lie in your reply to my review. You will not slander my husband on top of screwing us out of money you owe us. I will be reporting you to the labor board as well as the BBB. Anyone who reads your reply will know what a crappy company you are.Just by the things you said in your reply. Your reply contadicts itself by saying we abandoned the truck in the middle of nowhere but then you stated that we brought it back to IL. My Husband is a smart man and catches on quickly to things. Your ELD is not the first one he has opperated.

Before I have arrived to the office I had three conversations by phone. I flight from Philadelphia to Chicago by my own. The same I got the Uber. My interview took 40 minutes because I have an experience as a truck driver and signed contracts two times with different companies. Cargoboss Inc. management is unprofessional. They don’t care about your time, your expenses and so much hidden in their own. So if you will get an accident you will pay $2500 (from your deposit) anyway your fault or fault another driver. It calls driver’s liability part of total $5,000. I am not the first person who tried to figure out is this correct. They don’t care. I am starting the process of audit Cargoboss Inc. by requesting in Illinois DOT about their activities, documents and contractors (drivers) rights.

I would never, ever use this company again. Yes, they were Almost on-time ... NOT ..they were 3.5 hours late with the pick-up - but that's NOT where the good ends. They flattened two of my tires because they left the emergency brake engaged while towing it up onto the carrier truck. They severely scratched the roof and sides of my car causing well over 1,000 dollars worth of damage. My car, delivered in the middle of the night, was undriveable. I had to call a cab to get me home and a tow truck to tow the car to a repair shop. Then, the owner of MRV told me they wouldn't pay for a rental car while my car was being repaired and that they wouldn't pay for all of the damage repair - only about half of it because their liability had been limited by the contract. He was rude and arrogant. I was overwhelmed with the move and new work otherwise I would have happily pursued a lawsuit against this horrible company and horrible person.

Cargoboss is an exceptional carrier always on time for us helping us out when a crane is down overall great experience as a broker couldn’t imagine a better partner carrier to have. My company KBLS will look forward to working with them as often as possible!
