We had shaun and Hamid move all our items from our apartment to our house. They were extremely professional and worked quick and efficient. We have an awkard staircase at the entrance of the apartment and they were able to navigate our heavy furniture with no problem! I 100% recommend them for your moving needs!

I used "Cargo Movers Canada" for the second time because I like their professional service. Again, I am satisfied with the moving.

Both the movers and office staff were friendly and professional. They had patience to listen to my any concerns. The moving was efficient and smoothly.

The price was great compared to what we were quoted for moving from BC to Alberta.
Everything was pre packed in totes for the movers. 6 items of small furniture so shoudl be easy. Packed the truck and it was a different truck that delivered. We were not notified that they were off loading and reloading. Also a few if our items got damaged, with scratched and cuts. Broke.a leg off a stand that they wrapped. Seemed rushed rushes rushed.

These guys moved me from Vernon to Vancouver and we're awful, if I could give 0 stars I would.
1. Communication before the move was non existent. I tried several times to contact them regarding pickup time with no answer. The day before I got a call and they gave me a 4 hour time window. Whatever, not the end of the world.
2. Move day, they dragged some of our furniture across the bare concrete causing damage to several items, including a brand new solid wood chest and our leather couch.
As a Carpenter I can repair the wood chest with a bit of effort, but the couch was irreparable and unsellable. It went to the dump.
3. I submit a damage claim and was met with nothing but blame.
I saw the movers drag my furniture across concrete and the "customer service" representative called me a liar saying that their movers wouldn't do that.
Lastly, which I will admit missed in the contract, so that's my bad, if you make an damage claim and they accept it, you as the client will have to pay the deductible for THEIR insurance which is absolutely ludacris if you ask me.

I understand that during a move, some damage is bound to happen, but when the damage is caused by pure carelessness followed by zero accountability that is completely unacceptable.
If you value the integrity of your possessions DO NOT hire these muppets. They will have no respect for your items and when you try to bring it up you will be met with nothing but excuses and blame. My lesson has been learned, hopefully I can save someone from making my same mistakes.

MANY DATE CHANGES,
Lots of Damage to my belongings
and EXTRA CHARGES

I am writing this review to hopefully help Cargo movers improve their service and for those who are moving between provinces. In my case Calgary to Victoria!

After narrowing down a few companies based on their reviews online and the initial quote I chose Cargo Movers.

Initial info exchange and signing up agreement when very smoothly and friendly. We agreed on the date and time and I signed the agreement and paid the deposit

These guys will not give you a specific time and date till the day before the pick up.

Don’t book with them if you are having a tight commitment with your move dates (this might be just with long distance moves)

The pick up went smoothly, the pick up crew in Calgary were nice, worked hard, loaded the truck in a very organized way and I watched Bilal strapped them all tightly.

Again I could not get a specific delivery date from them (had a 3 days window confirmed).
The delivery date changed twice and it cost me flight change fees, ferry fee and accommodation.

Even that both I and my neighbor (used Cargo Movers) both told them about the narrow drive to the house, They ignored our advice, brought a huge truck, had to carry all the furniture and boxes one by one up the hill (Poor Amir)

And they charged me extra $500 for the long distance carry. They did the same thing on the second delivery for my neighbor.

I have pictures from when they opened the truck. Everything was thrown on top of each other.

My bed base was broken, the bed frame and my bookshelf were dented/scratched heavily.
My bike handle and gear was broken, my outdoor lamp was broken.

The whole experience was very frustrating and expensive for me.

AND I was charged 2.5 times the initial quote ! Which is too much of an error for an estimate.
Their initial quote was for (Move Size: 2 Bedroom 4550 lbs) Makes me think the initial lower quote is a trap to get you to sign with them.

Thank you for your response even that it is a few months later Jordan, obviously there are some communication issues within your team, a lot of information you have put here is not really how my case was handled.

you moved my neighbor after me and unfortunately your answers are not very true. I stand by all the points I've made. Please make sure the information passed to you is true.
Nobody called me to give me heads up about the drive way and there is not such an email. I never complained about packing cost of $250 but the way the packing was done. As the result of your packing service my bike, lamp and other furniture were broken or dented. I have the pictures. you see how my stuff arrived.
I called and made my complain clear however nobody from your side called me or tried to make it right. Just a reply to a negative review will not do it

These guys are not your average movers – they're absolutely amazing ! Friendly, funny, and super-efficient. They expertly handled all my stuff with precision too. I had a big move from Langley bc to Calgary and they turned an extremely stressful situation into a breeze. I can't recommend them enough for a smooth and enjoyable moving experience!
