For the last 4 months, I have had nothing but issues with extremely less food. The management when I've tried talking to them have made excuses. Today, I received such a small amount of food, for "box", day, it's disgusting. I've been standing waiting in line for my box, and watched about 10 other people receive exactly, or more food for their "bag", day, than what I received. The only thing I received was a few more canned goods. Also no frozen goods, or meat. Funny though, because several people who only had bags, received frozen goods, and meat.
As mentioned, I've tried talking to management, and their seems to be some sort of prejudice involved.

Never ever had problems, prior to the new take over about 4 months back.

IC Care and Share is so awesome salsa! I was one of the volunteers, court ordered community service, and this place saved me. The staff and the crew are like family. I do recommend volunteer work for a good cause. Thank you, IC Care and Share!

I don't know how to describe their kindness. They always treat everyone with respect regardless of what that person has said to them or about them. Love them and the excellent staff..

The food they give is average for a food pantry, but the front desk lady is very rude. It's the little Hispanic lady who I have had issue with. First, when signing up, she was mad because I didn't know exactly how much I make (I was just starting out gig work because I have illnesses keeping me from "real" work). Then every time since, she has interrupted me while I was asking for specific items to be added (i.e. feminine hygiene products and shampoo). Most recently, I was picking up some orders for DoorDash customers, let's give them the imaginary names of Jen L and Krista S. When I walked in, I told the Hispanic lady "Hi, I have some Door-" She interrupts me saying "Okay a DoorDash for who?"
Me: I have two, one for Krista S and one for-
Desk lady: Okay, Krista and who else?
Me: Je-
Desk lady: Who else?
Me: Jen e- (best substitute for the first half of the L pronunciation)
Desk lady: Jen, Jen who?
Me: Jen L
Desk lady: (right after I finish talking) Jen L?
Me: Yes.
Desk lady: Ok. (She has me wait for a while) You know you can wait in your car?
Me: Okay, I wasn't sure if-
Desk lady: Yes, you can wait in your car and someone will bring it out to you.

I would appreciate if she could get some coaching or sensitivity training, as no one likes to be interrupted every time they have to come to get help. It makes people not want to reach out despite desperately needing the help.

The Staff and Volunteers are doing wonderful service for our community despite the conditions they are having to deal with. It’s to bad that some of their clients (two men & a woman) don’t take time to understand that and treat the people working to help them, as best they can, with disdain as well as with disrespect. To the staff & volunteers, keep on doing the wonderful things that you can do for those who need you.... your rewards for your service shall be tenfold and beyond your imagination when you stand before our Heavenly Father and the Savior. You are doing His work and following the teachings of the Savior. May you and yours be blessed for these things that you do, have done and will do. Thanks You All.

Food they give is average. Most of the staff is very friendly and kind but a couple are very unfriendly, they act put out by the clients. Maybe they could try to smile a little once in a while, it goes a long way with people that are already struggling.
