If you have been with C&K for 10 Years + you will do just fine here….

But if you are new they will give you work the first two weeks and put you to the side and have you work when needed…

To many drivers here.. You are better off at a smaller company..

Dispatchers have their Favorites..

You will be told there’s no work at a rail yard you drop at and then see an older gentleman who has been with C&K for 10+ Years pulling a container.. The older CK drivers will have different lettering on their truck Vs New guys who have the Square CK Sign.

Commercial work rarely has anything if they do they give it to the guys who have been here for 10+ Years

If you young you better off waiting to come here in a few years when all the older guys retire no room from growth if your new here.. Seriously Majority of guys here that get good work are 55+

If your in here your in!

Work for smaller companies !!

I can’t believe I witnessed this on the road today. I suggest you all start implementing strict rules and regulations before you’re liable for a death hiring these type of irresponsible drivers. Do better!!

Trucking company in a residential neighborhood should not be allowed all you hear are the trucks and the smell of diesel constantly the neighborhood would sure wish you would go somewhere else maybe Bedford Park area more of an industrial area you are not wanted here

Scale 1-10... 10 being the BEST I give them a 1.5 on a GOOD day was working as O/O for about 1yr dispatchers have no customer service, they give you just what they want you to have, other O/O cutting dispatchers a check for consistent work, during the months of December- April they are VERY VERY SLOWWWW ON WORK Very inconsistence on the Uline and favoritism on Home Depot.. C&K basically a stepping stone!

I hear a lot of negativity about C&K, but my question is, what is specifically wrong with C&K? I believe that it comes down to relationships. Just because you have a bad relationship with a person or more than one person doesn't constitute a company being a bad company. Personally I think a course in diplomacy might make you realize in fact that C&K is a successful company. The last time I checked, success was no way related to negativity. Furthermore if one thinks that C&K is not a positive atmosphere, it might be because of you.

I hear a lot of complaints, but I'm convinced that that it's personal and a mind set. If you know how to treat the dispatchers, they'll learn how to treat you. I love this place...

Their driver literally almost ran over my car in the alpha border parking lot in bolingbrook I xaed the cimarron pl antly to report the driving and the man in the phone basically td me to pick off.
