I recently stayed at C.Baldwin hotel for work and had a great experience overall. The property itself is beautiful, and the service in certain areas really stood out.

The front desk was okay efficient but nothing particularly memorable. The rooms were decent but could use some updates or improvements to make the stay feel more comfortable.

One of the highlights was the valet service. While it is on the pricier side, the level of professionalism and attentiveness from the valet staff made it worth it.

Rosalie, unfortunately, was not open for dinner during my stay, which was a disappointment. However, the lobby bar more than made up for it. The staff there truly bring this place to life. Kayla provided top notch service and crafted some incredible drinks, making for a great experience. I also had an enjoyable conversation with Eric, who gave me a fantastic recommendation that I really appreciated.

In the morning, the coffee shop was a great spot for a quick pick me up. There was a gentleman working there who had incredible energy.Coffee came out quickly for those rushing off to work.

Overall, while there were some areas that could be improved, the exceptional service from certain people here really made this stay amazing.

My stay was great! Sarah at the front desk made us feel welcome each time I’d see her. The customer service from everyone was top tier. Michael the valet was very helpful with directing me on where to park and suggesting the breakfast tacos available at Good2Go. I only gave 4 stars because they only offer valet so you have to find street parking or a lot if you want to avoid the $60+ per day fee.

Valet crew is superb. The team of Demarcus, valon and Mike are very responsive from beginning to end. They greet you upon arrival frequently remembering you from a previous time. Then they welcome you and get your keys. Upon departure, they get tour vehicle quickly. It is a great experience. I have also heard them greeting other customers and answering questions about other placesxx co and giving directions. This is unusual and comforting. I think the valet serve at the hotel exemplifies the fine service the hotel provided

The hotel met all of our expectations! CJ was an outstanding employee! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left. As checking in he instantly came to help us with our belongings and took everything up to our room. Over the weekend as we ran into him he remembered us. When checking out once again he helped with all of our belongings and helped load them into my vehicle. He made us feel welcomed all around. As for the room we got a high corner room and it was beyond wonderful, along with the views! 10/10 recommended!!

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights on a business trip. The hotel is as beautiful as shown in the photos. I was not impresses by the half covered shower but I made it work! Oh... I cannot forget the evening complementary candy bar!!! Ahh! It was amazing. The valet service was top notch. My 1st and 3rd evening, Ron was a huge help getting me squred away with the complementary shuttle service! The front desk staff, each day greeted me and were very personable. I'll be coming back.

I had a great experience at this hotel! The entire staff, from the valets to guest services to the wait staff, were attentive, friendly, and courteous. When we arrived, it was early, and our room was not ready yet, which wasn't a problem. We mentioned that we were on our way to the matinee at The Hobby Center, and the gentleman at the desk immediately offered their complimentary--yes, complimentary--shuttle. Of course, they held our luggage for us.

We ate in the bar that evening. The bar is beautiful. The food was just okay, but it wasn't bad. However, our server was attentive and courteous.

The breakfast buffet in the morning left a little to be desired, considering the price, but I really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. I also liked our server; i had a very nice conversation with him.

I will definitely stay here again. I didn't have a single negative experience.

Recently stayed at the hotel for work (5 nights). The room was not fully clean as I had to send back towels that were dirty and the room was very dusty (see plug outlets and etc). The mini fridge sent to the room was dirty and looked like it had been dropped several times. The hotel front desk staff was not friendly at all as they seemed as if they didn't even want to be at work. What hotel does not even have a microwave anywhere on the property. The only great part about this stay was valet. Valet was overpriced at $67 per night but the car valet staff was amazing. I definitely will not be staying here again though. The hotel needs a lot of work.

C. Baldwin is a beautiful hotel. Definitely felt like I was in Texas while staying there. The view from the corner room was amazing. The room was clean and comfortable. The only complaints I have is that the water pressure in the shower was light and I had to flush the toilet a few times because they seem to be a plumbing issue with it. The mini fridge and the dresser also did not get cold, which sucked because I had lots of chaser that needed to be chilled. I’m sure they would have addressed the issues but I didn’t want to risk switching rooms,, this one was so nice. The desk attendants were very friendly and helpful. I’m going to stay here again when I visit Houston.

Helpful tip: there are several garages that you are able to park overnight. I suggest looking into one close to the hotel as the parking per night is ridiculous.
