We always get our food to go and the orders are always marked correctly. Skinny bread with one each ordered baptized, dipped and dry.. one for each family member. One of my favorites to order for beef.

I got Buona from 95th in Chicago/oak lawn and i have been having diarrhea for the past 3 days. There was literally a cockroach on the bag. I originally thought it might be from the hotel i was at but i had checked the whole place before putting my bags down and had been in the room for 4 hours already. 5 bites into my sandwich and i see a cockroach crawl across the bag. I think i might have salmonella or something because even days after eating it I'm having diarrhea at least once an hour. I am literally going to have to make a doctors appointment because of this. The flavor and appearance of the food was fine but obviously i couldn't finish it after finding out there was a cockroach cozied up with it the whole ride to my hotel. I'll just stick to Portillo's next time. In the picture you can’t see my full order but i got Big Joey’s Beef with hot giardiniera and an apple juice and a house salad

Every single time, without fail, they mess up my order. What am I supposed to do? Open up a beef sandwich in the car and make sure it’s correct? The manager only responds to positive comments and ignores negative comments. It must be nice to live with your head in the clouds. Avoid this place, as they can never get the order right for carryout. By the time I’m home, it’s too late as the food will be cold. They are indifferent to these issues and colder than a banker’s heart.

I've never had any issue with the food, its always been good. But I'm taking the time to leave a review for the great service from an employee named Sincere. I really appreciated how he held the door open for me and even waited a little longer to hold it open for my girlfriend who was lagging a little behind me. He also took our order and was sincerely kind, helpful and his smile matched his name. He is the type of employee any owner would want to represent their business. I also noticed a pretty girl with dark hair and eye shadow working the expo line do a great job packaging and taking out the food. She is often there when I eat and never stopped moving. Great staff at this location.

I would like to express my gratitude to Miguel and Jordan for there assistance and extreme kindness during our visit today. You both were very helpful and I can't thank you both enough. One of my favorites for fast food, dining in and drive thru Italian food. Restaurant is spotless and always great customer service and staff.

This location I am giving 5 stars because my family and I enjoy this restaurant. I had Buona before in the Flossmoor locaton and I was not happy. The Buona in Oak Lawn the food is delicious and we love it.

We have order here biweekly, some times 3x/week for the last 3 months. We appreciate the competitive pricing but not price gouging. It fits in our budget and thank you. We order through their direct website for pickup and delivery. We have also ordered through doordash and uber multiple times. I like ordering directly from their website. It is faster and food is always hot.

My least favorite were the chicken parmesan and chicken barbeque pizza. They were 6/10. Everything else 9/10.

The people working there are very friendly and nice.
