Our company has done numerous loads for Bowers and they always have had a more than fair rate and have paid in a timely manner. The office staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I have been dealing with Jenn Potts at Bowers trucking for 3 years now. They have fair rates and get almost all my deliveries on the days I needed them. They have moved 300+ loads for me, there customer service is amazing and unfortunately they can't have complete control over the sub haulers. I have customers who request trucking companies and the first and only name I give is Bowers Trucking.

Don't deal with Bowers..... Just move on... my letter concerning their attemp to short pay based on false claims follows. Some info has been redacted.

The claim that the delivery in question was delivered late is not true. The agreed upon time of delivery was Friday, Third (3rd) of November 2017. 8 am.
This delivery was made ON Schedule and ON time.

In order to comply with the oversized curfew (no oversized loads over ten (10) feet between 6 and 9 am) I was parked at Lyon Technologies Inc. 1690 Brandywine Ave in Chula Vista, CA at 05:45 that morning. I greeted representitives of both Beltran and Lyon Technologies as they arrived on location.

I was however informed of a conversation that took place with Mr. Chris Rutter of Bowers Trucking and **of J&C Specialized. It was regarding Bowers Trucking incuring extra costs to obtain the Friday crane lift and asking J&C to share in that cost.
As you can see on the Rate Confirmation attached (1017-07RC) there is no scheduled delivery. There is a comment to give Bowers trucking enough notice to insure there was time to schedule the crane lift.This condition was fully met.
I asked (Crane company) directly, and it is my understanding that Bowers Turucking incurred no additional cost in scheduling the crane.

It is my position that Bowers Trucking is not operating in good faith.
They first asked us to help with additional cost incurred as a result of scheduling the crane. These cost didn't occur.
When did not sign a new rate confirmation at the reduced rate. Bowers is now falsely claiming that the delivery was late in order to reduce the rate that they agreed to.
The agreed upon rate for delivery was, and still is $6,000 dollars U.S

Stop posting bogus loads on the boards. Stop wasting carriers time. Its a joke. If the load doesn't exist then it doesn't belong on a board we pay good money to find real customers on. Your part of the industry problem.
