James Dean’s final stop. The store is full of James Dean memorabilia, including a small little museum of sorts. They even have the goggles he was wearing the day of his crash. The bathrooms are clean and there’s a cool little 50s diner. If you’re looking for some souvenirs, this is the place. Definitely worth a stop since there is nothing else to see in this area.

Neat place to stop! I did not realize this was a historical place!! The last place James Dean stopped, before his car accident. 😞

They have photos and memorabilia of James Dean. It is also a general store, with locally grown almonds, pistachios, and honey.

Restaurant in the back of the store. We didn't eat there, we stopped in the late morning.

Fun to walk around, grab some snacks after a long day of driving.

Convenient location off Hwy 46. Free onsite parking with handicap access. Gas station and refreshment and retail for sale inside We always passed this business with the gigantic James Dean in front on our trip to Cambria but never stopped. We made a stopped this time out of curiosity. The interior is very large, neat, clean and organized. Cool 50's diner is in the back with a life size cut out of Marilyn Monroe. Across the way is their fudge bar. They also sell dried fruits, beef jerky, seeds, candy, snacks, drinks and much more. A large selections of souveniers and curios are for sale. Customer service is great. This was the last stop for James Dean before his tragic car accident.

Exceptional place to stop while traveling. You will find inside every possible way to buy something for later.
They have every 🥜 , pistachio, almond, cashew, peanut, dipped, salted, candied here. Too many styles to list.
They also have every type of BBQ sauce, pickles eggs, olives, relish’s, you need to stop.
I stop every time I’m in the area, get gas, eat at restaurant-pretty good, and buy some nuts.

Hamburger style restaurant inside has great food, along with free samples of their various types of fudge.

Magical.

Stopped for a quick restroom break in the middle of nowhere on a long vacation drive. Nowhere in my wildest imagination did I expect to find what i did inside.

What a collection of novelties, hot sauces, jarred goods, your normal convenience store odds and ends, wine, liquor, a candy shoppe/bakery and most surprising of all, a 50’s diner that may as well be a Time Machine.

If you need to get gas, try and make it to this location, even if it’s a bit out of the way. It’ll slow down your travel as you’ll want to discover everything the store has to offer, but it is such a refreshing alternative to dirty truck stops and cookie cutter gas station convenience stores.

This store should really get a facelift because it offers so much more than one would think and should advertise what it has otherwise most people will drive by it and not give it a second look like I’ve been doing all these years. It has nuts galore, clean restrooms, and the very friendliest employees! I love this store and give it a five star rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I thoroughly enjoyed coming to this wonderful gas station and general store! The local products were delightful and I brought home the yummy fudge for the family. We all enjoyed it! Now they just stopped there today on their trip! This is a fun place and I will definitely stop here and support this wonderful small business while in route from Los Angeles to the Bay Area!
