I ordered a grilled chicken salad only relieved a garden salad called Avantis a young woman answered told her what I ordered she had to talk to her manager.She didn't put the phone on mute I heard her tell the manager she didn't want to get into it with me heard her say even though the ticket called for grilled chicken salad she gave me a garden.She told me I had to call grub hub which I did. I am still waiting for my refund just messed up my birthday lunch. I will not order from them in the future.

A large group of us came for lunch, at East Peoria location, on Thursday dec 12....Sherri was our waitress... she did an excellent job! She was so efficient... very nice & friendly..kept our drinks filled, brought leftover containers, etc... we didn't even need to ask. The food was hot & good, too....thank you, avantis & staff! Our "young at heart" church group has been coming to you for Christmas, for years... and will continue to do so.

Great food and service. A nice little independent non chain place. I drive down occasionally from East Peoria just for breakfast. The mens room is a bit smelly. That's about the worst I can say.

Our whole family went here
on the 4th of July for supper.
We had a nice waitress,
and there were fifteen of us.
We had plenty of fresh bread.
The drink refills were a little slow.
It was a holiday, so that was okay.
Avanti's was kinda busy.

Avanti’s is a must visit restaurant when in the area. We look forward to eating there ALMOST as much as we look forward to visiting our family that lives nearby. The food is delicious, the service is friendly and convenient, and the prices are great. Highly recommend!

Seems like a great place, just leaving a review to share an issue with the menu for people with dairy allergies and vegans.

Ingredient list on the menu for their marinara does not include cheese but the kitchen staff stated they do add cheese. The pizza sause listing explicitly states it has cheese in it, so a reasonable person would assume that the marinara does not.
After the kitchen staff stated it had cheese, I found an allergy list online that shows it does have cheese. Then a manager relyed that it doesn't have cheese despite what the people who make it say and what their allergy list states.

Ordered online, arrived 20 minutes later as instructed yet once we arrived we still had to wait while several people had their orders taken. Told them to cancel the order. LaGondola is so much better anyway!
