I live in Virginia and participated in an auction several states away. I was very pleased with the service I received from the staff, particularly when it came to shipping my purchases to me. They sought out the best deal and everything was perfectly packaged and arrived safely.
I continue to watch the sales and bid frequently, (but I've lost a few!) Will keep trying. You guys seem to do very well for both buyers and sellers. Auctions are nicely advertised with complete photos and descriptions.

I didn't know anything about Aumann Auctions before they were hired to sell the contents of a house where i’m the estate administrator. Thomas Walsh was outstanding to work with, going above and beyond (ex: estate vehicle wouldn’t start - Thomas found a new battery and installed it.) They were able to get much more from the estate than I anticipated. So that someone reading this will know it’s real - there was one negative. After the auction was over, we found some additional items in an attic storage that missed the sale. If anyone saw how many items were in the house, you can understand how some items could be missed.

If i had it to do over again, I’d certainly choose Aumann Auctions and ask for Thomas Walsh - no question. I’m attaching some photos so someone reading this can understand what a huge task this auction was and why missing some items in a 3000+ sq. ft. house was understandable.

I’ve purchased from several of Kurt’s auctions. Always fair and well run.
On one two day event, I couldn’t be there for the second day. I left a check to buy two tractors. I not only got them, but I got a sizable refund on each one. Totally honest operation.
I have done that at other auctioneers, and they just happened to use every cent I gave them.

Last October I purchased a tractor at their fall original tractors auction. Their application for online bidding is one of the best I’ve experienced and easiest to use. When I arrived to pick up my tractor I was personally greeted by Kurt Aumann who congratulated me on my win and told me everything he knew about that tractor. They made me feel good about my purchase and were very respectful to me. Kurt even gave me a quick tour of his office and facility. Since then I’ve participated in a couple more of their auctions where items won had to be shipped and I was very impressed with that process as well. A very professional organization for sure and looking forward to future auctions!

Outstanding auction experience. This crew has it together from start to finish. Got invoice instantly after auction, paid, and lot was shipped within a few days. Came well packaged.
