We have been sending care boxes to Manila for the past 4 years through Atlas. Over that period we have shipped about a dozen “dish pack” size boxes. There is no weight limit. All the boxes were delivered directly to our family home in Manila intact. We have never had a box opened or an item lost during shipping. We used duct tape to securely reinforce and seal them. I feel fortunate to have such an efficient and reliable international shipper in the Anchorage area.

Have used Atlas numerous times. Only had a problem with one box that was damaged due to delivery driver not covering shipment on his truck and allowing box to get wet. Atlas refunded shipping cost and gave me $250 damage payment. Have shipped approximately 30 boxes.

This is the first and the last we're sending Balikbayan boxes to this Agent. At first my brother told me that the Balikbayan boxes in Palawan was needed to be pick up because the forwarder told them they don't deliver and it was paid by the agent for pick up only and there's a note from them that it was pick up only. When we send the Boxes nobody told us that "oh by the way palawan is just for pick only. we don't deliver to the recipients addresses. Except City proper " at least we know from the beginning. Or we know what to expect! nothing at all! And then the agent contacted me saying that" oh it's palawan we don't deliver it's just for pick only. How did we know? this is our first time to send Balikbayan boxes in this cargo company and we're new here in Alaska but not in the US. Nobody told us! And she said oh the one you've got the boxes is not an agent she's helping kababayan in North Pole/Fairbanks to send boxes to the Philippines . (Sounds like we should be thankful?) And I'm on this business for so long "will lady if you're in this business for so long then you should know way better specially here in the US". You should advice your people so called helping our Kababayans or brief them that if it's in this particular places in the Philippines tell them it's just pick up only be up front and honest. Not the way around! Coz you as an Agent and that people who so called helping kababayans here in north pole/fairbanks was not helping me at all it's a hassle and aggravation for my Brother to pick up that boxes to Puerto Princesa City Proper. Not only a hassle they're going to spend money to pick that one up P2,000. You're lucky I pay it in cash otherwise I will do charge reversal. And this Agent keep saying that the lady so called helping kababayans she don't know. she's helping kababayans to send boxes to the Philippines if she doesn't know you should orient or advice her. So whose the blame you as an Agent! Did you think about that? And you're saying you're in this business for so long? will the reason you're in this business for so long coz some of your customers doesn't complained and maybe no other choices to send their boxes. not me! I have a friend whose an Atlas agent in Delaware she knows what she's doing and very up front to her customers. In lower 48 we used Star kargo to send balikbayan boxes every year we don't have any single problem at all!

This will be my last to send box thru this company, for the following reasons: The agent at the Atlas Anchorage scheduled the pick up date and time on Oct 29, 2018 between 2pm -6pm. We've been waiting for the driver to pick up the box as scheduled, but no driver showed up until we called the agent to follow up. And was told that the driver called out, and no one is available to pick up the box as scheduled, as well as the delivery date is always being rescheduled due to missed connecting vessel at the port of Manila, first scheduled date of delivery was 12/19 -then -12/26 - then 1/7 and still pending for delivery to date ?

I do not and will not recommend this travel agency to anyone. They will give you the runaround if you’re trying to get a refund for your ticket. Not truthful and trustworthy at all, first and last bad experience when it comes to ticketing service ! I would give it a zero star if I could !

I ask my husband to buy atlas balikbayan box sa main office ,then my husband told me ,some workers very rude,,...then i call to inquire the owner woman so rude to answer all my inquires ,.. i ask all this questions cause i wanted to make sure my balikbayan box ..delivered there in my place in what month ...by the way heres my question ,,,..my large box,...wieght limits ?what wieght?...how many months get there?..are you guys pick up here in my location?.....,,so rude to answer ..so rude to explain .....we are the customer treat us nicely ...dont have business if no customer or client ...

Many things were stolen out of one of my boxes I send for me wife and child. Not only a lot of food with missing but medication for my daughter. These people are liars and thieves never use them.
