Always a great spot for a meal. One of my favorite late night spots but I wish they were open later! The service is good, but be aware that everything is fresh and can take a bit to come out. I personally think APD has the best pizza in Humboldt County (and no where else even comes close). It can be a little pricey but it’s worth it for a good meal.

Food is quite good, they have great pizza and sandwiches! They give large proportions! So that is always a plus! Waits can be long, so come on the earlier side. Also call ahead to see what wait times are like!

My partner and I went here to celebrate a birthday, we had to wait 20 minutes for our food and they never called our names. When we finally got the food it was cold and the fries were terrible. None of it was fresh. The service was poor, we asked to dine in and the order was given to go. Not worth it for the high prices. Won’t be returning.

Fish and chips were awesome, everybody loved their pizza, and the specialty craft beer menu is something else. They'll even let you try what's on tap if you haven't had it. The raspberry lambic was great.

The Fish and Chips were nothing short of AMAZING! BIG, FRESH, NON-GREASY, THICK pieces of amazingness!!!! Even my Fish and Chips snobby parents who live in Monterey County were writing to each other about it, as they visited me individually! I’ve enjoyed APD’s Pest Turkey sandwiches, salads and Out n’ About Burgers and they are consistently out of this world. This is a must stop for locals and visitors alike. No “chance taking here! The photo was the last piece of our 3 piece meal. So much, we couldn’t finish, even being so delicious, our bellies are full!

Great lunch. Had a turkey sando with feta and spinach. I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because of the high price and I kinda wish the sandwich came with a side or choice of a side. Like fries or coleslaw or chips or even a small drink. Hubby had a cheeseburger and he said it was great. Fries do not come with the burger either. Bummer.

We ordered turkey sandwich with pesto and a Carnivore pizza. They were both delicious. We were just passing through on our way home and it was wonderful to find this local favorite!

Be careful of multiple charges! I paid for my order. The manager Maggie argued with me that it didn't go through. I showed her my phone confirmations. She wanted me to pay again! I refused and she told the kitchen to not make my order. Long story short, 4 days later the charge did show up on my credit card. I had to go out of my way to get a refund. And I will never ever forget the horrible customer experience provided by Maggie, one of the most incompetent managers I have ever met.
