I have used Anderson Bros 3 times and each move has been as stress free as possible! Leigh in the office is on top of it and knows her stuff and is so friendly and kind. I would like to rave about Lawrence, one of the gentlemen who helped us move. I cannot say enough good things about him. He is AMAZING, cream of the crop! Patient, kind, efficient, just an over all genuine great human. Each job I’ve had him on, he has been the lead and is always the one hustling and picking up any slack. He’s the best! I would sing his praises from the mountain tops!

I hired Anderson Bros. Movers to move my mom. They were incredibly professional, communicative and competent from the very start. On the day of the move, they were incredibly patient, helping to finish up packing things that were still loose and were willing to adjust when they needed to make two runs instead of one. They were careful with our belongings and were diligent about placing things (endless boxes) where we asked. The move could not have happened without their incredible patience and hard work! And they had a friendly attitude during this stressful time! I highly recommend them!

Anderson Bros. Movers is the real deal! Found them through a referral and they definitely lived up to their reputation. I originally called to ask about pricing and scheduling and spoke to Lee. Lee was great, easy to communicate with and she asked all the right questions about our move. Booking services was a smooth and easy process. On the day of the move the movers, Lawrence & Toby, arrived on time with a courteous & professional attitude. They guys were grade A professionals who made it look so easy even though I know it is hard work moving heavy boxes & furniture. Not only were the movers pleasant to work with but they worked efficiently and handled all our belongings with great care. We don’t plan on moving for a while but when we are ready to move again we will make sure to book with Anderson Bros. Movers. Karl was great! He told us what to expect on moving day. His estimate seemed fair.
On moving day the guys, Toby, Alex, and Lawrence, worked well together and were efficient.
On delivery day Toby, Alex and Jessie again were efficient. They asked where we wanted things placed. When the trucks were empty Alex came through the house with us and asked if we needed anything moved around or rearranged.
We hope not to move again however if we ever do we would definitely call Anderson Bros. We would recommend them to our friends and family.

We first used Anderson Bros 38 years ago when as a young family, they moved us from our apt in SF to our new home in Oakland. Back then we thought they were fantastic. When we moved from our home of 38 years, we needed to find a company that would move us, help us pack glass, pictures and put things into storage. We were happy to find them again and the courtesy, knowledge and techniques Carl gave us to pack our own stuff was invaluable. We had given ourselves plenty of time to pack, sort and declutter...this process took us 5 mos, but it was less stressful/painful and easier to manage. They have their own storage and held our possessions for 6 mos. Then we had found the right condo to downsize to, they moved us in. Courteous, friendly, attention to detail were all appreciated of both 3 person teams, and the office staff.

I was referred to this company by someone who stated they refer people there all the time. While they showed up on time, once they showed up and found out I was a woman moving by myself they proceeded to take advantage. First they loaded items that were clearly marked glass under other items. Then 1 of the 3 spent at least 1 hour off and on texting a work associate (or so he stated) while I bubble wrapped glass shelves. There were many items left in my old residence when they left, some wrapped in large outdoor trash bags for moving. They purposely placed items over things so they would not have to carry it out to the truck.. They then stated would grap lunch on the way and meet me in 30 min (off my time of $250 per hr) my residences were 10 min away. I was not told about 30 min minimum drive time. When I arrived at new place they place open bagged pet food on back pouch, only bag placed out there, next day I lost $70 worth of dry food. Heavy items were placed in rooms were they clearly didn't belong, boxed marked bookshelf were placed in back bedroom. I can't complain enough about their unloading of items. I was exhausted from staying up all night the night before trying to box everything thing up but should have been directing these employees as they knew where they had just placed the bookshelf. When they left I could not find my box cutter, unfortunately after unpacking I realized items were missing including a very large canvas bag of clothing. I should have searched their truck before they left. They knew I was unhappy with services, I believe they stole out of spite. Do yourself a favor as most large companies change the $250 per hour, place your trust in another company.
