Located in downtown Los Gatos, this is a nice Mexican restaurant. Service was good. We had a pitcher of the Cadillac Margarita which comes with a nacho plate (not on the main menu). This was enough appetizer for 5 and there were options for veg and non veg. It was very good. Cheesy. For dinner we had the chipotle burrito, mole enchilada, tacos and chili verde plate. Burrito was ok with not much flavor. However the rest of the food was good. Service was prompt. The back patio is quieter with heat lamps.

Andale in Los Gatos is a clear winner. I had never made arrangements for a group of 30 before, and the manager, Carlos, helped curate a special, economical dinner which felt quite grand and elegant. I was excited to tell people where we celebrating.

We walked in to the patio to find a lovely, green space. The table was set with specially printed menus and people were able to pick their starter and main course and enjoy aqua fresca and/or iced tea/lemonade and dessert. I was expecting buffet trays but everyone got beautifully plated dishes, which made the dinner more formal. People LOVED the food. I got the salmon and it was incredibly flavorful and a great portion size - I need to return for more salmon.

The amazing food, drinks, set-up, service, and the lovely patio space made the evening feel perfect and elegant. This is a great place to make fond memories for important occasions.

Every single dish we ordered was super tasty, which is truly the hallmark of a fantastic restaurant. We had the vegetarian jackfruit tacos, enchiladas, tortilla chips with guacamole, salsa & a bean dip, and every single item tasted distinct but superb. Devoured it all and would definitely go back! The only downside was the service was pretty slow - there seemed to be only a couple of waitresses & it took eons to finally get the attention of one.

After 30 years. Bitterly disappointed at the changes.

No more free salsa bar. Only table service now, no more counter ordering.

FOOD still amazing but very disappointed that they changed the format. Counter ordering and salsa and chips WAS the reason I went to Andale.

Growing up in Toga, this was always our go to place. Sadly. Not anymore.

I Asked a server, who was playing with his phone for more salsa, and an interrogation ensued, UGGGGHHHH!

BRING BACK THE SALSA BAR!!!

We had dinner here last week and the food was flavorful, fresh, and tasty. I ordered the Chipotle Burrito and the family ordered the Fajitas! The service was pleasant and attentive. The Chips and Salsa when it arrived hit the spot. The chips were fresh and crispy. Our food did not that long to arrive either. My only suggestion would be to bring the Burritos for the Fajitas at the SAME time as the food. Would recommend place for sure.

Downtown Los Gatos, this is a cute Mexican restaurant, with a really nice back patio area. It is clean, comfortable, and service was great. On a cold raining spring afternoon, they were accommodating our desire to seat in the patio by turning on the heaters. Food wise, it was a mix, the shirmps were pretty delicious, good quality, but the pork was really dry and hard. Inconsistent with our previous experiences.

i always say, how can you tell if a place is good? enty of seating both inside and out back. As I got in line I noted that they have a full bar, a fresh squeezed orange juice machine, beer, Mexican sodas and more.
The menu is straight forward, everything is made fresh and they have locally sourced food and USDA choice meats.
I ordered El Presidente (say that with me, El presidente) burrito and wifey got the fresh grilled fish burrito. After we placed our ordering went to the Pico bar. I tried 3 different ones, all 3 are excellent, super fresh with great flavor.
My burrito was amazing from the first bite I could taste the grilled chicken then my mouth exploded with the taste of their homemade pico. It had fresh crisp flavors in every bite, don't even get me started on the shrimp, sooooo ggggoooood!
To drink I had a horchata, honestly it was meh at best.
The table service is great and they stay on top of cleaning the tables. As soon as a patron would leave the table was cleaned (hard to do considering how busy they are)
Overall this is a great place and I definitely recommend giving them a try.
