I recently had an experience with American Aviation mechanic shop that I believe deserves recognition. While traveling in my Cirrus with my family, we encountered a mechanical issue. Fortunately, I reached out to American Aviation and found their team to be highly responsive and professional.

From my initial contact, I appreciated how accessible they were in scheduling a visit. Remarkably, they diagnosed the problem and completed the entire repair in less than an hour, showcasing their expertise and dedication to ensuring the safety of their clients. I also valued their communication throughout the process, as it helped me understand what needed to be repaired.

Once the repairs were completed, I conducted a thorough runup to ensure everything was functioning correctly. Feeling confident in the work done, I proceeded with my flight to our destination, which went smoothly and safely.

Overall, I would highly recommend American Aviation for their commitment to quality service and professionalism. It’s great to have a reliable mechanic shop that prioritizes the safety of its clients and can provide timely assistance when needed. Thank you to the team for getting us back in the air!

Our family wanted to take an aerial tour of Lake Powell and we are so glad we chose American Aviation to be our tour guide! I had never flown in a small plane and was nervous but our pilot Bob was delightful, experienced and explained everything from travel safety to what we would see from our birds eye view. Check in with Miranda who I might add , she was so sweet as she gathered information from us. When we arrived at the counter we were greeted by Mike who had a warm friendly smile and a happy personality. Our pilot Bob escorted us to the plane and offered to take photos of our family beside the plane! We did not feel rushed to board the plane as you do on large air carriers, it was quite the contrary, we felt like celebrities! Once we were inside and all fastened up and we received clearance , the take off happened which in itself was a thrill as the plane approaches the runway and we have a front row seat!
Once in the air, we saw Lake Powell, Horseshoe Bend and Glen Canyon Dam. It was fantastic, exciting and a great big WOW! Our air tour was 40 minutes and Bob our pilot was checking to be sure we all were comfortable. The view from above was spectacular and the flight was smooth. We took fabulous photos and have added to our family experience of seeing a spectacular part of this country. Thank you American Aviation for making a wonderful family vacation memory!

The lady at the counter was wonderful! She was informative and helpful and wanted to know about our flight experience. I was disappointed with our pilot, however. I asked him if he liked his job because he didn't seem to want to be there. (I didn't understand him to reply) I would have preferred to be told how the flight would unfold, knowing that just after take-off we would see the dam and the Horseshoe formation. He didn't let us know that he would be pointing things out. But it was a wonderful experience and we were very thankful to be able to fly over Bryce Canyon with it covered in snow - it was beautiful!

Called American Aviation at the last minute and they accommodated our request for a tour the next morning. Our pilot Kaz was awesome, taking his time to point to places of interest. Chris in the office was kind and assisted us with our dog. The tour was SO good! I would highly recommend American Aviation West for your tours. Great staff and very much worth your money!

Capt. Scott was terrific! My wife and I took a couple hour tour in their 172 in late Sept '22. Scott is an exceptionally skilled pilot, very knowledgeable guide and a master at helping spread the excitement. I highly recommend asking for Capt. Scott, what great fun!

Stopped in here on a cross country trip in my Cessna 182. Overall a good experience. The line guy was nice but lacked some knowledge. I think he just needs more mentorship. They didn't have window cleaning supplies available, which seems like a basic FBO function. It is nice when the line guy fueling up your airplane at least offers supplies to clean the windshield...if not just does it himself. I would use them again. They just need to up their game a bit.

Great shop helped repair our plane very friendly staff turned our bad day into a great day ! also are charges was more than reasonable very happy thanks for taking care of us .

Great service and super nice staff. We stopped in and it was everything you could ask for there was also a small gift shop that had drinks and some snacks. We will be back for sure!
