I moved my stuff from Alaska to Pennsylvania. It was to take 4 or 5 weeks, but I actually needed a bit longer, so I was glad they will store your things for a short time at no extra charge.
Calista Ross was the person helping me. She did the estimates and was very up front about prices and how it all works. Even after I got to PA, she kept in touch to find out when I wanted it delivered.
The 2 guys that packed my things were fast and efficient. It only took about 3 hours to pack up 30 boxes of stuff, a queen mattress, and a few small shelves.
The crate came to my new place on an Ace moving truck, and it was still nailed shut. The boxes were all in good condition, just like when they left AK.

On extremely short notice, Alaska Terminals packed and moved some of our mom's possessions from Alaska to my Chicago area home and the rest of our mom's possessions to Idaho for my sister after our mom passed away and my sister and I had to clear out her apartment. I have moved many times (25 to include overseas moves) during my life and I have never seen items packed so carefully and thoroughly. Every piece of china and every fragile collectible arrived completely intact. Everyone that we worked with was very professional and very thorough. Nicole followed our shipments from the time she first provided a quote to us to the day they were delivered to our houses.

Nicole and her team are without doubt the finest moving company we’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. The men that packed us were professional, courteous, and worked hard to pack and load us. They’re great guys!! Then the team that unloaded our belongings at the new house were just as wonderful going above and beyond in helping us. Nicole remained in touch with us throughout the process. Working with Alaska Terminals on our Alaska leg our cross-country move was great! They called as soon as our belongings arrived in the port to schedule delivery. They arrived on delivery day on-time. The two men we're professional & took great care of our items during unloading. Once we got everything unpacked, they even came back to pick up our moving boxes for recycling! I'd definitely use them again for any move I might have!

I've never had a move go as smooth as this one. Nicole was fantastic with the coordination and kept us informed all the way. Matt & Art packed our deceased mom's belongings to include a large amount of crystal, china and family heirlooms. Everything arrived with absolutely no damage! It also arrived two weeks ahead of schedule.

We are more than satisfied with every step of our move. I cannot say enough about the courtesy, and professionalism of all the staff. Starting with Calista Rose who was perfect with her estimate and helpful all along the process.
Michael and his crew were unbelievable in the process of packing and loading our house. They were respectful of our home and worked without any breaks.

The whole experience was unexpectedly without a hiccup. We are blown away at how well it all came together.

We will always be a positive reference for this entire organization.
