I started my search to move from Illinois to Montana and was immediately horrified by everything I read online about moving companies. Eventually I found Lee at Advantage and she patiently walked me through why my experience would be different. She followed through on everything - even delivering me a few gently used boxes to finish my packing. Abigail coordinated all logistics and checked in frequently to make sure I was informed and had what I needed. Then on moving day I had the BEST group of guys - Tito, Bobby and Himie. A-Plus service - professional, efficient, hard working and kind. I can't say enough about what a seamless experience this was! HIGHLY recommend!

Beware and stay away from this company.
Not only have they damaged our furniture, they offered zero assistance to dispose of a 300 lb piece of furniture they damaged in transit.
They work with Sirva, which will do absolutely EVERYTHING in their power not to reimburse you for damages or for additional costs to dispose of damaged furniture.
They also left boxes behind which did not belong to us and contained private documents from a different client.

The only positive was the actual office worker, which was very responsive.

Their moving crew will NOT take care of your possessions. Proceed at your own risk.

BEWARE!! This company does not deliver your possessions when promised in their contract! We are 2 weeks past their guaranteed delivery date and still waiting for critical items because they broke our possessions into 2 separate trucks. While we had no complaints with their actual moving crew, who were efficient, not getting all of our possessions or knowing if they will actually arrive intact is unacceptable.

I had an amazing move experience with Advantage. Carmen and Chuck in the office were very responsive and understanding throughout the entire process. Chuck went through the quote with me and there were no surprises later on. On the day of the move, Patrick and his Chicago team (Aidan and Dennis) were absolutely amazing. Super communicative about timing and willing to help beyond their job description. On the day of delivery, Patrick was again very communicative and so helpful. All the items in the move arrived safely and nothing that I was concerned about (e.g., framed art or glass kitchen items) were damaged at all. Thank you to the whole Advantage Moving team!

One of the smoothest moves we have done (This was our 20th) There were no surprises in the moving quote. Every line item cost was explained to me and exceeded expectations.The driver and crews were on time and moved us in and out without issues. Advantage Moving and Storage handled our cross country move expertly and with outstanding customer service. Initial survey done by a professional estimator named Lee did an amazing job. She visited our home and quickly reviewed our items to be moved and provided a rapid estimate of cost. Advantage prices were much more competitive than other moving companies who would only quote estimates over the phone.

Lee continued to provide great customer service during our move. We were moving to a new construction home in another state and Lee made sure our estimated delivery date coincided with our closing date. She was very responsive to our requests for changes and her work was much appreciated. Additionally, the Moving Coordinator named Carmen also worked along with Lee to make our move and storage needs were met.

Delivery was performed by a friendly and professional driver. He coordinated with local moving helpers and the whole team worked quickly and carefully. Great job by all.

I most strongly recommend Advantage Moving and Storage for moves. The entire company staff works to ensure a quality move. Their hard work and cooperative attitude was great. Thanks to all.

Very pleased with the cost and execution of our interstate move. The estimating process (in-person) gave us more confidence in the accuracy of the number we got for the move. The crew showed up on the date promised and worked quickly to pack and load. The three-person crew were friendly and professional. Most of our items were self-packed, except for particularly delicate items and the kitchen. Took about 7 hours to load (not much furniture). We were pleased to learn our goods were to remain on the truck that was loaded from departure to arrival at our new house.

Delivery was about a day later than ideal, but worked fine for us. Door to door was 13 days, with two weekends and a holiday in that span. Emmett, the lead for our load, was there to execute and manage our unload. Time for the delivery was about six hours, including a moderate amount of reassembly. Again, the crew was friendly and professional. We would certainly use Advantage again.

It was a well coordinated and communicated move. From getting the initial moving estimate to the final moving date, to the individuals who actually loaded the truck to delivering the goods at final destination, it was a perfect and a smooth move. The truck driver was also very courteous and delivered the goods much sooner than originally planned.
Good group who concluded our move exceptionally well and it takes a team of professionals to execute such a long distance move. Great job guys and thank you!!
