I had $10000 in stolen and damaged goods because the gate is left open all day with nobody on site. Anything that wasn't stolen was damaged by mice and a water leak in the unit. There is a mouse infestation and the contract states they are not responsible for any rodent damage.

I called the storage unit and even though the manager was wrapped up with a personal situation she had a contract to me and I had a unit rented for my self and another unit for my parents with such great ease. While I know situations can come up, my experience with a local competitor, Butte Self-Storage and U-Haul, was a horrific experience! So bad was my dealing with Butte Self-Storage and U-Haul that I wrote my first negative or one-star experience. Feel free to read my review on Butte Self-Storage and U-Haul Google listing. Once you have read it you will understand why A1 mini storage is by far a more superior managed storage unit in this area!

In the time I rented a unit here my items were safe. It was always easy to send in my monthly payment and I was always treated well.

Standard storage locker place. The location is in the south part of the town of Mt Shasta just off of the I5. The roads in are paved but the areas around the building are not which means it gets muddy in the winter. Also after a snowstorm, I could get to the building but had trouble accessing my locker. The place is semi secure as you can't drive into the place after hours but you can still walk down to the lockers from the main gate which is nice if you need to get something after hours.

Told me they had a unit for me. Drove out and called them.. no answer. Have tried them a handful of times today. No answer, no return call. Just as useless as everyone else in northern Cali. Don't waste your time
