If you've ever read one of my reviews, you know I don't dabble in mediocrity. I reserve my keyboard clattering for the unicorns and dumpster fires—the Really, Really GOOD or the Really, Really BAD. Today's review? Oh, it's a spectacle for the ages. Grab some popcorn.

For the last 20 years, I've been a loyal Tempur-Pedic and Stearns & Foster evangelist. My family sleeps in the lap of luxury thanks to these brands. So, when it came time to upgrade my mattress this year, I naturally stuck with my tried-and-true favorites. Enter NXTPoint Logistics - Final Mile. Spoiler alert: the "Final Mile" may as well have been the final nail in the coffin of my patience.

The drama kicked off when they arrived—four hours late. Okay, 3 hours and 45 minutes if we’re splitting hairs. It’s the holiday season, so I stretched my patience muscles and thought, “Alright, I can forgive this.” But what followed? Oh, it was the plot twist no one asked for.

When the team finally showed up, I asked if they could help move an existing bed out of the master bedroom to make way for the shiny new one. Easy, right? Wrong. They told me, flat-out, “We don’t do that.” Confused, I explained that my sales rep had promised me White Glove service, which clearly implied a little bed-shuffling assistance. Nope. They weren’t budging.

I tried negotiating. I even offered them extra cash—because nothing says “Happy Holidays” like a little green incentive, right? No dice. They wouldn't touch the frame. Alright, I thought. Not ideal, but let’s pivot. I broke down the bed frame myself. At this point, I was channeling my inner HGTV host, wielding tools and muttering inspirational clichés to myself.

Then came the next curveball: despite my sweat equity, they still wouldn’t help move the bed out or set up the new one properly. This wasn’t “White Glove” service; it was “You’re-On-Your-Own” service. Meanwhile, the clock was ticking—I had guests arriving the next day and not enough time to play musical beds.

Finally, the pièce de résistance: the manager asked me to sign off on the delivery. I refused, on principle. After all, they hadn’t done what they promised. His response? “Fine, I’ll just take the bed back.” Excuse me, what now?

He summoned his team to break down the newly set-up bed and haul it out of my house. Stunned, I asked, “You’re seriously taking my bed?” He doubled down: “Yup.” And then? He threatened to call the police on me. Yes, folks, the police.

Picture this: a grown man, standing in my driveway, yelling into his phone, “Siri, call 911!” over a mattress delivery dispute. I was half expecting the SWAT team to rappel through my windows, demanding I relinquish the mattress.

After several minutes of reality-TV-worthy theatrics, they packed up and drove off—without my new bed, the old bed, or even a shred of dignity.

Stearns & Foster, you’re better than this. Partnering with a company like NXTPoint Logistics - Final Mile doesn’t just tarnish your reputation—it straight-up drags it through the mud. This wasn’t White Glove service. It was a clown show with an extra dose of chaos.

Moral of the story? Be very, very careful who you let touch your sleep sanctuary. And maybe keep 911 on speed dial… just in case.

I had SUCH a great experience with Suddath. From the moment I called to ask questions about my upcoming move, everyone there was amazing. They answered all my questions and were so warm and friendly - I knew they were the only company I’d choose to relocate me from Dallas to LA. The packing crew was super friendly and competent. And Hector and his team of movers worked SO HARD to get all my belongings loaded up and shipped to me at my final destination. I have zero complaints about the process and I highly recommend them for a quick and hassle free move!

Im not one to write reviews but this was the best move in the history of moving. Ive never had a good experience with movers, until now. Tom was my coordinator and he went above and beyond to provide my family with exactly what we needed to make this cross country move happen. He was honest, had competitive pricing and checked in regularly. We were the last on the truck and the first off and they got here in record time. Eddie was our driver and oversaw both loading and unloading teams. He was professional, kind and super efficient. Nothing was damaged. That was a first. Very grateful I used Suddath after getting moving bids for 5 different companies. Super happy. Thank you Tom, Mandi and Eddie!

Our company recently contracted with Suddath Relocation services to move the office equipment from one of our remote facilities to a new location. The move went exceptionally smoothly, was on-time, and the crew that performed the move were professional and courteous. The office staff of Suddath could not have been more responsive to our needs, and followed up with us to ensure our satisfaction. Altogether a thoroughly flawless experience.

This moving company was atrocious to work with. Awful communication to customers and between the company and actual truck drivers. Representatives are rude and of no help. We were told 2 different delivery dates and received our items the very last day in the contract. Do not recommend at all, in any circumstance.

We had a wonderful experience with Suddath and Zane Anderson. We built a house and Suddath moved us out of our old house and stored our belongings for 3 years. When the house was finished, Suddath moved us back into the house. They were efficient, professional, and reasonably priced. We would recommend Suddath for any of your moving needs.

Joaquin Guzman was amazing. He explained the entire process and all of our options. The move team was spectacular. Very detailed and very respectful of our neighbors and apartment building. Their thorough process helped us to feel at ease with a big move. Would 100% use this company in the future.

Zane Anderson and the Los Angeles Suddath Relocations System team are outstanding. I have worked with them for over ten years. Their storage facility is clean and well organized and maintained. There is excellent communication on all levels and they are way ahead regarding public relations and company integrity. They always go over and above the call of duty to accommodate my schedule and time frame. They have assisted me in moving twice and each time, under Marshall's direction, everything was protected, wrapped and moved out and in to the new location as if it was their own. I would never have anyone else but Suddath.
The staff takes pride in their work and family spirit whether over the phone, by emails, or in person. I would highly recommend Suddath Relocation Systems of California in Los Angeles to anyone without any hesitation. I could not do my work without their help and reliability. A five thumbs up!!! Thank you for outstanding and professional front desk personnel, dispatchers, storage organizers, loaders, unloaders, and for the respect and appreciation they also show me. It is obvious how hard everyone works. No one can be singled out as being the best, they are all the best in the industry.
