Swanson's came highly recommended by a trusted friend whose family has used them with great results for years.

Scheduling was easy, and the owner answered and booked my move. I liked they didn't charge separately for gas etc, it was less complicated than other movers, although more expensive than many movers I called. The two guys, owner and brother, we're very nice and personable, and based on ease of scheduling and being super nice I rate with two stars vs one.

I have lots of antiques, handed down from generation to generation. They assured be they knew proper handling and had moved antiques regularly, and they would be fine. They were not. They hauled the furniture out and I thought would be wrapping it at their trailer, but, they did not.

Many pieces have deep scratches, rubbed marks where the wood finish is just gone etc. I have called three times and left messages. I did, received a return call once from a woman. When I explained the situation, she said someone would call back, but I have heard nothing.

I did sign the paper they stuck under my nose as I was trying to communicate with a contractor to fix a broken water line. I trusted them, as it's family owned and they seemed nice but when I saw my furniture damage, I looked over the form and called back the same day of the move to let them know there was damage. Their form said essentially I agreed there was no damage. Pretty shady to not wait a minute and then refuse to call back.

They also scratched my floor (brand new tile pit in and I new have a scratch I can't get out) and dinged my freshly painted walls in two places.

My antique Asian rug was rolled up with a pad underneath that I did not know was disintegrating. When I mentioned that, they said, "Oh, yeah, you'll have to have that cleaned.". My sister and I inherited many of these rugs, and that one rug will cost about $600 to have cleaned.

I do not recommend using these two.

Super nice, but either don't know what they're doing or don't care.

We met Dave Swanson when he came to our garage sale in February right before we put our home on the market. He gave us an hourly quote for moving and told us to contact him with dates. He dropped off free boxes for us to pack almost 4 weeks before the move. We got a great mix of brand new boxes and boxes in excellent used condition. We set a move date with them 6 weeks in advance and a few days later moved it later by 1 week. On moving day they showed up on time and ready to load. We had about 80% of our homes contents packed and ready to load. We were all surprised by how much stuff we had to load despite selling and donating loads of household items and clothing. We thought we were prepared to downsize 200 sq. ft. Our items and boxes filled their whole trailer. They were fast and efficient in loading up our boxes, beds, dressers, and fridge. Once at our destination they were just as fast and efficient as unloading the trailer. They hooked up our fridge and assembled our beds then proceeded to place the boxes in the corresponding rooms. Despite knowing we were going to be paying based on an hourly rate, they hussled to finish the job fast. It took them less than 6 hours to move our 3/2 with den and full 2 1/2 car garage 1880 sq. ft home into our 4/2 1650 sq. ft. home 15 miles away. Once they were done they itemized the time spent and submitted a bill to me and it was exactly as quoted, no surprise charges! We didn't have any damage or marks on walls. It was a great move experience. Being in Benson, Arizona, I was impressed they didn't upcharge me despite them having a Tucson address. Many times Tucson businesses charge more for us being in Benson. I highly recommend Swanson's Moving and Delivery.

I was there because the owner has a small Yard Sale at the warehouse that he sells estate wears that he collects from various jobs he's done. There are some great finds there! His days of Yard Sale operation are sporadic so you just have to look for the Sale signs.

Honestly it’s the worst company and experience I ever had. We purchased two bathroom vanity’s from Home Depot and I am not sure who would e er hire an unprofessional company like this to do the job let alone Home Depot. Jeffery the delivery driver was super rude he just left the hevy boxes on the street even after explaining it to him the delivery said to the door. He told me to call his boss so I did the boss was Dave Swanson he definitely didn’t acted like a boss more like Jeffry’s employee. So he was no help he said he is in the middle of something and he can’t help. So save your lself time and money and look for somewhere else

After several delays and mishaps with a separate delivery arrangement service, Swanson’s took responsibility and took time to explain what happened. Doreen was impressively responsive during the height of a busy holiday season. The delivery drivers were friendly and extremely helpful. So happy we finally received our furniture.
