I had to figure out how to get a trunk hand-built by my grandfather from Arizona to Alaska. It was complicated by having to coordinate various options/schedules. Gateway was extremely patient and accommodating, working with me until we figured out the best way to protect my sentimentally precious cargo for shipment. They even rescheduled delivery cheerfully when I got the dates wrong.

I own a furniture store in Colorado and one of my customers ordered 2 recliners that needed to be delivered to Tucson. That particular manufacturer only offers curbside freight and my customer was wanting white glove delivery. Enter Gateway! Gateway received the shipment making sure it was in good condition. They set up a delivery appointment with my customer. My customer had nothing but good things to say about Gateway. The 2 delivery guys brought the recliners in and put them where she wanted. They also removed all the packing material. She said they were both very polite and helpful. I will definitely use Gateway for future deliveries!

My mother left me two large oil paintings which I flew in to retrieve and send back to my home in Upstate NY. Given the limited time I had in Phoenix, Steven kindly met me to receive my paintings on Saturday morning when though his offices were closed. He kept me up to date every step of the way and the packing / wood crate was amazing. Ironically the cost was not much more than what a UPS store quoted me using two cardboard mirror / art boxes taped and packed together. I highly recommend Gateway Crate and Freight Services.

Gateway retrieved many precious family heirlooms and a box of photos and documents from my father, packed them carefully, and shipped the materials to my quickly and affordably. Pickup was contact-free and very safe; the driver called my father about 20 minutes in advance to give him time to place the items outside the front door. Upon returning with the items to the main office, Gateway photographed everything and documented the packing process for me by sharing the images. The outer packing box was reinforced with cardboard on the edges to ensure that the box would not crush during shipment. Gateway also sent a revised estimate for approval and took payment over the phone. I received tracking information and the shipment arrived ahead of schedule. I am very appreciative for this service that helped to transition these heirlooms and documents safely and securely, saving me a trip to the area during the COVID pandemic.

My experience with Gateway was excellent. They followed through with everything in a timely manner. All was done correctly. Furniture was extremely well crated and arrived unscathed. Having the furniture shipped was not the headache I thought it would be! They made it effortless on my end. I highly recommend this company.
