I had the best experience ever, thank you Gateway Deliveries! They are #1 in my book for best truck delivery service in the Phoenix area!

I was in a jam and needed a new mattress delivered fast for my in-laws that decided to drop-in unannounced. Gateway Deliveries not only arrived the same day before noon, they set up the bedframe, box spring, and mattress for me so I didn't have to lift a finger. The drivers were so professional and nice. They were careful with moving the mattress and cautious not to scratch the wall or floors, and considerate about not tracking dirt in the house. The service was top notch and they were super friendly very respectful of my home. Thanks again for your quick and professional service. -

Gateway contracts with Spencers TV and Appliance for deliveries. We had a washer/dryer delivered from Spencers, and Spencers set up the no-charge delivery with Gateway. The delivery occurred August 14. First, the crew of two arrived approx 2 hours after their promised window. During the delivery, the crew chipped a large piece of tile on the front entry stoop, and they also knocked loose a tile from a brand new installation in the bathroom adjacent to the laundry. Spencers was contacted the next day but it took until Sept 12 until Gateway responded. Gateway provided no apology and did not seem to take my complaint seriously, although they have done what is likely permanent damage to my home, which contributes to the Coronado historic district. Gateway indicated that their contractor would have to evaluate the damage and said he would call. He has not. Sad that companies are contracting with such a poorly-reviewed business. I've filed a BBB complaint as well.

I just had a marvelous experience with Steve and Javier, the delivery and installers of our refrigerator. They made a trip this morning and told us the refrigerator was too large for the opening. I called the sales rep at the appliance store where I made the purchase and told him this while the installers were there. He said okay and that just come back to the store and he would make things right. I drove the 25 miles to the store and the sales rep was convinced that the refrigerator should fit, so he called the installers and asked them to return with the fridge and install it. So I drove 25 miles back home, met the installers, and they brought the fridge in to install it. As they told me, and as I saw, it didn't fit. These guys know what they are doing. I now have to get a new frig and have it installed, and I am definitely asking for these guys to be my installers! Also, in passing we told them that the refrigerator needed to be replaced because there was an odor that I could not get rid of that I thought was coming from the fridge. Javier asked how old our dishwasher was as he thought the hose to the garbage disposal was improperly installed. He thought the smell was coming from the dishwasher. Then he asked if he could look closer and I said definitely! He found that our garbage disposal was leaking and that was where the smell was coming from. OMG! What a blessing! These guys didn't have to go this far beyond to be helpful to us, but they did it with a smile. I will always ask for Gateway's Steve and Javier to be my installers! It's so great to have service people who really understand customer satisfaction and are happy to go the extra mile. They turned a bad day's experience into a positive one!

This company is GOD AWFUL! I set a deliver day a week in advance for two sofas, a mattress and a box spring. They called me this morning (Saturday). to give me a deliver window of 4-6pm. I planned my entire day around this and pretty much ended up wasting the day. It got to be about 5:45 and still no sign of them so i called, then the guy told me he had a problem with his truck and he was behind with another customer. He told me he had one more deliver to do before coming to my place!! I asked him about what time he expected to show up, he said about an hr to an 1hr and 15 minutes. So its now 740 and he still hasnt showed up. I called him 5 minutes ago and he was just finishing with his last customer.......If hate when people can't keep appointments and it's even worse when they don't give you early notification!!!
If I could give 0 stars i would!!

My experience with this company has already started off in a negative way. I purchased a bed frame and dresser from Biglots. I was called on Saturday afternoon and was told I would have to be available between 9-11on monday. I arranged my day according to this time. I took off work according to the delivery time. I get a call this morning advising me of a 3 to 5 window. I explained to this rude individual that I arranged my schedule according to our conversation. His response was oh well we have been in business for 10 years and we never provide a time. But either he or his representative did provide a time. Being in business for 10 years means nothing except he feels that it is OK that I am losing money from work because of an error he or his employee made. DONT USE THIS SERVICE! absolutely no customer service skills and cares nothing about the customer who is overcharge to bring items up 6 stairs to my bedroom. Signed WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN!

Terrible delivery service! Let my couch just hit the ground twice and didn't even apologize!!! Worst people skills ever! ! Made my whole couch experience suck, can't help but think that I made a mistake buying it since now I don't even know if my couch is cracked or the wood is broke underneath the cloth. The two delivery guys were just nasty also, dressed like the were homeless. Never use this company, you will regret it.

Awful! Stay away! This company is as unprofessional as any company that I've ever done business with. Same complaints as everyone else, so that should say something about the way they attempt to run a business. If you sit at home all day and don't work or you like when you are told when you will get your paid for merchandise, this is the company to go with. Rude, late, unprofessional and unable to accommodate someone with a schedule outside of 10-4.

Contacted the Phoenix States Attorneys office for illegal price gauging to customers. I will be contacting the media as well. I will be contacting the corporate store of Big Lots and pray they find a better delivery company. The price quoted was $55 in the end they tried to charge over $200. We call to try and be reasonable, Big Lots is taking no responsibility and neither is Gateway. None of them care about their customers. I am a consumer and the reason you are in business. They were two days Late, did not honor quote from seller, was sadly disappointed in the whole experience with this company.
