Best experience we have ever had a DMV/MVD/ADOT

Truly 10/10.

Very helpful, informative. The staff was very friendly, the process was very easy and truly painless. Needed to get a temporary registration to drive our vehicle out of state during a move and they helped tremendously.

Awesome professional people working here. They are super fast and know their jobs. They answered all my questions and were extremely polite. I would recommend this ADOT office over any other office in the state of Arizona.

I would not even give them a star, went here a few times and each time the staff was unfriendly, looking for any kind of excuse not to help with their job, they only have one facial expression which is a scowl, and felt like every time it was because they were prejudice. They gave pointers to the Caucasian boy taking his road test and they didn’t check their brake light and head lights, but on my sons truck they did a full 120 inspection short of an oil change on ours before telling us we can’t do a driving test because of such a such reason and that we could come back at a later time, also would not refund our money.

This was likely the best DMV experience I've ever had. Taylor was so helpful, pleasant and professional. We are fortunate to have him and his team providing excellent customer service in our LITTLEfield slice of heaven.

Robyn with the DMV is so compassionate and always goes the extra mile to make my experience there less painful. I'm 65 and have to get my driver's license renewed. Digging down into my history for the proper paperwork has been a challenge

I don’t know what you’re doing wrong but I drive through the Mesquite canyon to St. George every year between December 20-January 2nd. Every. Single. Time. an hour is added to my trip time because you guys pick the worst times to do road work on the freeway, and it’s always like this. Please figure out how to manage your time and efforts so you’re not wasting hundreds or people’s time. We will all be late to anything we had to do that day.

I have been trying to get my sons drivers license. I live 2 hours from the closest DMV location. I came into this dmv initially with all appropriate documentation I.e. birth certificate, social security card, ID, etc to get his driving permit. The man behind the counter told me I had to have his dad present because he was the sole parent.(my son and I don’t share the same last name because his dad and I were never married) I made the mistake of saying we share custody(meaning we co-parent it’s not a binding legal contract) I informed him I was the sole parent and he said he could not help me without proper documentation. (A legal document proving I’m the sole guardian parent from a courthouse?! Whaaat?!) There was never a marriage between his dad, or court ruling to implicate sole guardianship of my son. His dad and I never took anything to court just a verbal agreement that we shared custody of our son. So he denied me because my son and I don’t carry the same last name. That’s it. (Which I provided the social, birth certificate and ID) to prove I’m his mother. After bickering back and forth I asked for a manager. At which time the manager came , looked at all documents and over ruled his previous decision and said to give my son his permit. Thank GOD someone with half a brain stepped in. Okay, Fast forward six months. My son has driven his permitted hours and I need to get his license. I schedule an appointment for a Wednesday and realize I have a conflicting schedule as my son has ACT testing at his high school. I call the DMV number to update his appointment and the representative says walk ins are always welcome. Oh great! Thank you ?
I drive 2 hours(closest DMV to our isolated community) and the same guy at the front desk says under no circumstance do they allow walk ins. And turns me away. Oh and there’s no manager available. Sorry. This young man needs fired. He has terrible customer service and lacks basic knowledge of his job. Worst DMV experience ever!!!! ?
